@@youniqueworth5483 Thanks, I started with a sugar/carb detox from my doctor for 3 weeks and included healthy fats and protein. I am still eating a low carb diet. Personally, I will need to continue primarily low carb if I want to keep the weight off. Best of luck 🙂

I started Wegovy in Feb, down 50lbs. I decided to focus on my diet and count calories. I don’t mind counting calories bc I needed to learn or be able to estimate how many calories I was eating. I don’t have a exercise routine either but the weeks I do exercise more, the scale does move more. Also, my mother use to wake the whole house up w Leslie Sansone and her Walk Away The Pounds vids 😂 They work though!

I'm right there with you. It's worth it to finally have the help and support that other people don't need to feel "normal". I've had PCOS my whole life, and all of the worst visible side effects. Hirutism, dark neck, acne from the hirutism, and on top of everything just being overweight and ridiculed in school. I'm finally looking better, brighter, more confident. I'm not eating when I'm not hungry, I'm not eating junk. My life and habits are different. I don't hate running anymore. Everything has changed. Im risking my health to for my health, and so far it's been worth it. Thank God I ran into a doctor that actually listened to me and suggested Wegovy.

Started with Mounjuro, lost 30lbs the first month. Then it slowed down and I started getting an allergic reaction at the injection site. I was off two weeks and while switching to Wegovy, realized my life long weight gain war was a mental illness. My stomach was full, but my brain was ravenous for food. Got on Wegovy and stabilized. Currently on Ozempic, which causes me to lose weight at a slower rate. It’s almost been a year, down 50lbs. At this point I take it for mental health reasons. It helps me stay in a chill, balanced, joyful head space. I take more risk, and feel I’m moving forward again in my life, my weight loss is a byproduct.

Are you taking your measurements? Fat weighs a lot less than muscle so you may not see pounds lost but will see inches lost. How are your clothes fitting you? I'm wearing clothes I haven't been able to wear for years because my body has gotten smaller. At 5 months I've finally lost 24 pounds. Don't give up but remember you still have to do the work with diet and exercise. Eat lots of protein and drink plenty of water.

I have diabetes for 21 years (diagnosed at 16) I’ve haven’t been on medication for my diabetes for 15 years. 8 years ago I was able to lose 75lbs & keep it off with workout & diet keeping my A1C at 5.9 which is normal for most adults. I was in an car accident 3 years ago f I haven’t been able to workout because of the injuries I’ve sustained. My doctor recently prescribed me Trulicity. The hoops I have to go through to get this medicine. My insurance needs a preauthorization with my doctor then she has to sends labs showing that I my A1C is over a 6.5 because of this shortage. It’s been 2 weeks & still nothing. For the people who absolutely need these medicines for health reasons to not be able to get it because of some people vanity is absurd.

I love all your updates and watched your video before I took my first shot. I had slight side effects but as I went up in dosage the side effects tapered off. I’m on 1.7 with no side effects. Congratulations on your wedding and weight loss journey. I’m glad the the shot worked for you. I’m getting the VSG because I’m ill and on lots of different meds. Meds I need and med to combat the side effects of the meds I need to take. And when my rheumatologist suggested I take mounjuro and another pill along with 20+ for the illness. I said no especially when I found out I would have to take the shot forever and when I read abut the possible cancers. Different cancers runs in my family. Even though the dr said it’s rare forms of cancer. I just don’t want to take that chance. I’m trying to get away from all the meds I take except what I need to take. Blood pressure, diabetes, headaches, water pills, depression, anxiety, sleeping pills gone. My rheumatologist was shocked that I passed all the tests I needed to take in order to get the VSG.

Constipation is a form of stomach freezing because your motility is slowing down and bowels are not moving. That is the main cause of the stomach problems the people are now having.. if you are not eating your gut stops moving and the inevitable is the gut problems.. this is going to be a huge deal especially when you are talking about being on this for a lifetime. I'm on my 1st month of Wegovy & it's going fine so far. I used your "kit" & I think it's probably why I don't really have side effects. Like you, I've done every diet & was successful, but eventually gave up & the weight came back. I'm turning 50 on the 28th & figured it was only going to get worse as I age. Is there is a Costco somewhere near you? You don't have to be a member to use their pharmacy. The most I've waited is 1.5 weeks and that was for 1MG. I got up to 1.7mg two months ago. And got a prescription for 2.4mg at the beginning of this month, but I have started it yet. 1.7MG kicked my butt for the first two weeks. My stomach was upset, to the point of waking me up to throw up and my stomach hurt. I slept a lot more the first two days after taking it. By the 3rd shot my body was used to it. I've had 8 shots of the 1.7mg so far and feel great now. I drink 3 24oz bottles of water daily and that solved my severe constipation issues. One thing with 1.7, is remember to eat, because my weight can change by almost 3 pounds in a day if I am too busy to eat and spend the entire day on my feet. At this point I'm down 65 pounds, 17 I lost on my own, the rest from Wegovy. I don't like the idea of being on a medication the rest of my life, but I want to feel happy about myself and be able to take pictures with my child without feeling self conscious and sad. I felt like PCOS damaged my self esteem, but Wegovy has given me back my confidence.

Wow! I am so honored to have come across your video.i hav been taking Ozempic for less than 6 months . When i went for my A!C check in July, it went from an 8 to 6.4 . I’m seeing everyone lose so much weight. I’ve been on wegovy for 7 months and have lost 20 pounds. I’m ok with the slow transition so the skin remains in tact. I think my workout had allowed me to gain muscles. The difference is in the nsv, which are clothes. I have to get fiber a lot to push things out. It helps a lot to regulate. I think that ppl who lose enormous amounts initially so fast I prone to think that it may be because they may be heavier and have more to lose. Versus a person who may be smaller and less to lose may see it go slower.

I noticed I was tired as well. I recommend taking a multi-B vitamin. For the constipation try adding chia too your smoothie or salad. Helps move things. along. Water water water

I'm on Ozempic for diabetes and in the beginning I started injecting in my stomach. I was fine until the third week and I began having extremely bad stomach pains. I also have PCOS and those symptoms were horrific and the medicine was helping me feel more like myself. I decided to switch my injections to my thigh and I have absolutely no pain or side affects. I started in May and I've lost 20 lbs so far

I began to have the exact same symptons and I am also diabetic and have PCOS. The pain was so intense I could not understand why it was happening. I started taking apple cider vinegar capsules and the pain stopped. Go figure. I am still doing the stomach injections to be honest I am afraid of taking the shot in the thigh.

I had a tough time getting wegovy at my local pharmacies. I finally found an outpatient pharmacy at our local hospital that has a bariatric unit and have not had a problem filling my prescription. So far I’ve lost 10 lbs on .25. Dr. has me on .25 for a 2nd month and will go to .5 starting my 3rd month.

Please let us know, I take my first dosage of that tomorrow but I skipped the 1.0 doage because my doctor or I didn't want to wait... I've lost 22lb in the month I've been on it which is a lot but I fast 2 days out the week, I eat meatless 2 days, and I intermediate eat the other day's (I eat small meals every 3 hours to make my system move, I workout with KZbin, I drink atleast I cup of coffee or detox tea to make sure I go to the bathroom, I also take probiotics. I have not had any issues with the bathroom..

You’re doing great! Please start working out. It doesn’t have to be a strenuous or long workout. As we get older especially while losing weight you need to do things to maintain our strength(so important). This is coming from someone in her 40’s who had to learn this the hard way.

Go for a short run say 3 times a week or just start walking. 20-30 mins is all you need. You don’t have to go to a gym. And getting out in the fresh air and clearing your head is amazing. X

Same experience very minimal side effects even on the higher dosage. The only side effect I had was I would get my cycle when I went to the next higher dosage, which I had not had for over six months prior to starting Wegovy. But thankfully that has now stopped. 😊

Congratulations 🎉on your marriage and weight loss. I have been on the Wegovy journey since the end of January. I started with quick weight loss and then the great American buy out. I did have to use Ozempic for 2 weeks and 1.0 of Ozempic was just not the same as 1.0 of Wegovy for me. I hate Ozempic. I lost 50 lbs and now have plateaued. I have started going to the gym Monday through Friday and still the plateau. I am not discouraged as from past weight loss journeys, there are times like this. I must say I have not been tired. Girl, I feel you on working out . However, I started Pilates and omg life changer and now not only do I love it. But I want more workout now. Just do a free class and let me know. It balances and centers you and you just feel great. I do wegovy and it doing Pilates gives me energy.

Hey there! Are you sure that you are actually injecting it? I take Wegovy, but I’ve heard of people not getting the medication injected because there’s a film that has to be removed in the pen or something? Watch an injection video by the manufacturer or ask you doctor to show you how to use it again, just to make sure you are doing it right. I hope that works! Good luck and wishing you the best!!!😊✝️

Where I live, the shortage isn't over. I'm hearing September, also. I have been on Wegovy for seven weeks. The first week I lost 6.6 pounds. After that, it was up and down. When I went up to the second dose, I started having major gas issues. I think it's because your digestive system slows down and your food has time to create more gas. (When your digestive system is too slow, it's called gastroparesis.) I have had enough stomach issues in the past to not want to have them be self-induced. I have PCOS, too, so I understand your struggle. It's sucky. So happy that you are having such success with Wegovy!

I’ve been on both Ozempic and Wegovy. I started on Ozempic but was left at the .5 dosage for several months due to shortages, with no significant loss. Then I was switched to Wegovy through 1.7 mg. Then due to shortages, I was switched back to Ozempic - this time at 2.0, the max dosage of Ozempic. I’ve been on Ozempic at 2.0 now for about 2 months. I was losing during the first month but stalled in the second month. Then I saw a YT video by @Dr. Dan that addressed why the GLP-1 meds seem to stop working for some people. He advised that people actually stopped doing their part - protein intake, calorie deficit, other macro intake, etc. The video was eye opening and I’m just refocusing on doing my part to get maximum benefit from Ozempic now.

I have used her tapes too she is super good for the weight lost. Walking is great ! Start some kinda workout if not it will come back when your off of the medication. Cause your going to want to eat again. Food , food , food !!!😢

I started wegovy .25 august 10th after not being able fill the script for about a month. I decided to switch to an online pharmacy cause Walgreens, CVS, or Wal-Mart wouldn't hold the prescription due to shortage. I currently pay OOP and my online pharmacy gives me $500 discount. I have 1 .25 dose left for next week and my .5 dose was delivered 2 days ago. The 3rd dose (1mg) is in my pharmacy profile waiting on me to click purchase. Month supply cost me about $1100 with the discount but its totally worth it when i factor what im saving from eating out, fast foods, and dessert binges. I'll be able to chang my insurance plan in November to add drug coverage. Starting weight 8/10/23: 253.4. Current weight 8/24/23: 242.7. Diet: Juicing, protein shakes, boiled eggs, water. Exercise: treadmill or rower at least 20 minutes + weight training 3-4 times a week.

Wegovy is out until September. CVS was advised by the Wegovy rep. My doctor is putting me on due to my health issues and my script is on hold. I too have struggled with keeping weight off and tried so many diets. I am finding now that I am 47 what I was doing is not working for me. All the best as you continue on your journey. congratulations! i have been on mounjaro for 1 year now and have lost 80lbs! i was 313lbs when i started and pre diabetic. only side effect i had was a sulfur taste when burping in the beginning and the runs once or twice when i ate something i guess was very oily🤷🏽‍♀️ otherwise it has been a godsend.

Wegovy is expected to return to stock in mid September. I explained to my physician about the shortage. She wasn't aware either. I haven't received a shot in 3 months. But my hunger hasn't come raging back. My BMI is 30+ I have only used Wegovy. My doctor expects me to be on the drug for the long-term. We'll see what happens.

Finding Mounjaro is getting just a bad as finding a needle in a haystack. I'm on the phone every month calling every pharmacy within 25 miles, before I call the doctors office to call in the prescription.I start tracking down my next box when i have two needles left. So far I've been traveling an hour by car into the next stat over. I'm currently on 12.5 mg. I've noticed that every time I eat my nose runs, and I can no long eat spicy food. I've moved up a dose after the completion of evey box. Down 30 lbs. with no exercise, but I feel its taking muscle weight. Best wishes to the newly weeds.

I’m on week 15 of wegovy - one month of .25, did two months of .5 due to the shortage but was able to get 1mg and let me tell you - the 1mg is kicking my behind! I take my shots Monday night before bed, fight nausea all day Tuesday and end up violently throwing up Tuesday night. Been this pattern last two weeks. The stomach cramps/pain are intense. I have GERD so I’m thinking that’s why I’m having such a strong reaction. Thing is - I’m just now starting to see the weight come off and afraid if I tell my doc that he’ll pull me off it but I heard dr’s will prescribe anti nausea meds if needed. Trust me that pepto bismal doesn’t cut it.
