@@Lightheartt Worst part might actually be Erika, since the grass types are really strong, and she has 4 pokemon while misty has 2

i dissagree. misty's starmie is far faster and apears at a secion of the game with less resorses. not to mention, erica actualy only has 3 pokemon, one of which is tangla who only knows constrict and bind, meaning both fights have two difficult pokemon. if you allowed bag items that tangla would be a great spot to set up x items and heal in fact. and not to mention the fact that she can be skiped till later in the game, unlike misty. although misty does sometimes use x defends so you may be able to brute force free turns against her. it is however worth noting that tangla knows grass moves in yellow and frlg making them potentialy more threataning there
