So Taxi is a film trilogy.. unless you want to watch Jimmy fallon and Queen latifa butcher the remake 😂 I recommend watching them as they are a goofy really fun set of films about a taxi driver that dreams of being a world champion racer and an incompetent detective that crashes cars every time he attempts to get a licence. In the 3rd film both they're girlfriends are pregnant, hence 2 different baby missions. I as specially apriciate the engine upgrades in game being pictures of brake boosters, car components that make pressing the brakes easier when under engine vacuum, do not increase braking performance and have nothing to do with the engine whatsoever.. let alone the top speed 😂😂😂 Great vid 👌🏽 Again I highly recommend the films, just thinking about the mercedes 190e bank robbers, lancer evo gang and car sick taxi passengers.. takes me back to my childhood

A game based on the previous film came out months after the film was initially released (March 29th 2000), first on Windows, then the Sega Dreamcast and the Sony PlayStation.

I didn’t know that that “Taxi” was the same idea. I don’t remember liking that movie. And I might have to check them out. The story of this game doesn’t give much context to anything lol. And alright makes sense. It doesn’t mention Petra at all til that last mission lol. Thanks for checking out the video, glad I could take you down memory lane lol.

The movies are fun as hell, also, they made a 4th and a 5th version of the french movies (nobody like the US remake). Game really doesn't do it justice, just a silly Ubisoft movie tie-in cash grab.

This makes a ton of sense, I've heard the U.S. version of Taxi was really bad. I don't really remember it. Since its a movie tie-in, it makes sense that the game is an hour long.
