Trapeze magician hard counter lyrilusc as long as he's face up you take no damage if it less than it's current attack so normal 2.5k the only way they can damage you is if they have assembled with psychic blade (so far i never seen anyone play it) or 13 materials lol , basically just make trapeze stall until you draw the out or keep forcing there nightingale effect each turn until she runs out of material ( hard to do so if they have weg tail)

Revolution des Fleurs can also create Bishbaalkin lock to help against them (and also Star Seraph and Sharks). I used it in my ArchFleurs build and then OTK with Berserk Dragon and Pentestag.

Also, de fleur can make trish 0 turn 2, if lyri doesnt respond in time, then they will get 3 cards banished, because the combo to trish 0 ends on the skill summoning fleur to field, 2 + 1 + 8, 11. On top of that, theres also zombie world and baller to disrupt their plays (some lyris only work with winged beasts) and banish their untargetables.

Gaia could run Reverse Trap, bigger attack and drops nightingale There's Array of Revealing Lightthat prevents a called type from attacking on summon (or Stumbling) We're running the Powerful Quickplays to counter them, but they are as well.. Enter Magic Deflector :D Sphere Kuriboh is better than Kiteroid since Gale can gain atk Rainbow Life/Hallowed Life barrier good for turn skip and some decks need to dump a card pulse mines/warning point/floodgate trap for other turn skip cards. some decks just need that one turn Utopic Lancer+ Forbidden Lance/Eagle Booster [for Protection] can negate ALL opponents atkers effs going in battle phase. Usually just summon, enter battle phase, activate and end turn if going 2nd if they don't end with bonce bird. There's a few other options (but kinda gimmicky) like Ultimate PRovidence, PowerSink Stone, Kurikara, Nib+Witch of black forest (searches), spirit barrier (if can protect it), Rafflesia or always go PURE toxic with Tyrant's Tirade, Cloak and Dagger or Ordeal of a Traveler (meme). Byser Shock with Limit Reverse (if monster goes to grave) and Level 5 Reload. It Bounces ALL FaceDown cards to hand on summon; so it counters/follow-up Eclipse Debunk beats most meta decks, counters activation from hand OR gy and then banishes it Regulation of tribe ( if mid-heavy on backrow) and Taunt are other decent turn skips

For me i find hole traps good counter Time space just return them to deck or extra deck while Flood Gate function Similarly to Eclipse while Trap Trix Trap Hole Nightmare works to Against the Xyz its usual target is the back row removal or the xyz that search but it can Destroy Nightingale to if they decided to use its Protection effect but it rarely happens I guess Giant Traphole work's to but its only target is the yellow or green bird and the things they Summon but it can work if you don't have the better ones but its a destroy card so it wont work if they already have Nightingale on field Double Trap hole is probably the funniest since it can be play around easily but they mostly summon the small bird in def position it's probably the funniest since it's technically a non hard once per turn cheaper Ice Dragon Prison it will probably give Liralusc players the habit of Summoning their birds on atk position to play around this card similar to how Lightning Storm gives Master Duel Players a habit to play around Lightning Storm it's also funny when you resolve it when they use Yellow or Green since you get to bannish 2 monsters😁

Thing it it was obvious the deck was gonna do this when they added nightingale with 0 changes. the deck irl was already very resilent to hand traps and now you only need 4-5 materials on a nightingale to win the game. I loved the deck irl but knowing its just gonna be a KC Cup dominated by it and Konami will destroy the deck like they did Tacyion is the reason i couldnt invest in a deck i love. I know they'll do what they can to make it unplayble.

also people compare this to sky decks... (not strikers the one that was so anoying we needed skill nerf ban list and everything) but theres a diffrence... that deck wasnt using its own cards. lyras just using what its always done. field flooders. a card not mentioned at all is number 69 which not only negates all the monsters effects but can also use nights own effect against it

I used fleur zombie orcust to div max and i clapped them hard. They can crow but orcust has scarred so many people that they immediately use it on the knightmare/harp horror even when i have the beatrice there to send doom king next turn. Unchained with 3x idp was working great against them (also non target pop) but star seraphs was almost an autoloss for me with it.

Idk if this matters, but mcnights being able to counter the birds with their trap is kinda fun. Seraphs going first have a good amount of draw power that they can consistently draw counters. Same goes for live twins and sky strikers, also remember that the 1 sky striker spell that mills, can also send the edz monsters to the gy, if the opponent puts nightingale in there, thats a way to dispose of it. Jamming waves can destroy monsters without targeting, so you can destroy nightingale if the opponent doesnt activate its effect. Live twins, in my opinion, is the best at countering lyri, they can easilly run kaijus, eclipse, droplet, etc... Without much worry, also, alpha can bounce the kaiju back to hand for further use, and if the lyri player doesnt pay attention, you can steal their nightingale with the cont trap. Speaking of kaju, their field spell, if not removed, can consistently bring kaijus to hand.

@@GabrielNunes-hz6tq yeah, but they can run a lot od backrow/staples that can deal with lyri, and the continuous spell and lil la (not link) can punish the lyrilusc for making a giant nightingale. (The cont spell deals dmg every summon, and heals you, the small lil la burns for every attack)

Memory of an Adversary is also funny (not great but funny), you non-target banish the attacking monster (they have very low attack), and also you get to steal it after 1 turn. You can also get it with box chips.

In infleurnoble knights the best out is probably trishula zero the on Summon banish 3 cards on the field,one. On turn 2 you can make with any normal summon + Skill and every time I banish their assembled nightingale they usually concede very fast

@@redgoesface1671 yes if you have Gearfried or charles on field (both level 9) you can special Renaud to add back a level 1 Roland from GY and normal summon it. That's. 9, a 1, and renaud a tuner 1 equals 11 for Trish Only problem is old skill makes it more difficult to set that up on turn 2

The new box is crazy value- they accidentally put 4 viable decks in one main box along with eclipse and a decent trap card. One deck is SUPER free to play, time thief is really cheap too, and then wind witch and birds don’t take too much either.

Another deck that has a really good matchup against Lyriluscs is Sunavalon. Going first, we can Bloom their entire board so long as they fail to open backrow removal (you can negate Thrush if they target it), and going 2nd we can easily play through a 3-mat Ensemble with the help of the Skill. I actually just hit Lv. MAX with this deck and didn’t lose to Lyrilusc a single time (I even ran DD Crow for this format & made several Lyrilusc players scoop on the spot by banishing their Canary target 😂)

You should just play Dingirsu in your Unchained Deck. But than again its hard to play through 3-4 bounces of Robin when trying to summon both level 8 unchained Dogs. However that matchup is terrible for unchained going second cause of searchable d.d crow and the fact that your non target pop effect is useless against Nightingale. Honestly just play the Ritual Handtrap or Kurikara both probably will autowin the matchup when resolved.

Borrealload having multiple outs is crazy to me. Turn one the have Silver rokket and Riot Dragon like mentioned in the Video and going second they have magnarokket non target send aswell. Combo that with book of eclipse , droplets and you have a tier one deck which is almost exactly designed to beat birds. Borrealload KCC cup again?

What I see with the deck is that kaiju-type cards are the way to go. I am thinking of Santa Claws and Lava Golem here, and whatever others you can remember that are in the card pool. Super Poly is no bueno, yes?? BTW there is a spell/trap or three that can rip from the opponent's ED. Nabbing copies of the XYZ could be a needed additional move. Is there a Designator variant?

But people can play around Kaijus by detaching Nightingale in the drawphase. Sure you tribut Nightingale but you can't otk. And next turn they just resummon Nightingale from the Graveyard with Canary or Warbler effect. And your right back at the start but your Kaiju is gone now.

I don't think they will fixe anything with a banlist. Like in the past, we did complaint a lot about BEWD skill be overtuned which is still is. What was Konami answer to that? Release even more broken card and skill so BEWD can fall off without nerf. I feel they will do the same with lyri or do a light nerf which doesn't matter just to put a restriction somewhere. Like you have a perfect example with borrel.

okay so it's super convoluted BUT if you use a Sacred Beast engine you can summon Hamon and then use Opening of the Spirit Gates to get Winds back it is super jank and I did a vid on it (but with Void Vanishment as my send off of Beatrice)

About the cyberse synchro-ritual attack lock, the lyrilusc boss can still attack directly no problem And you forgot the fluffal skill that just equip the monster to your frightfur bear and with 1-2 intruptions in your opponent's turn you get the win

@@mekklord so basically me and my friend play unchained and we had the same thing. The 3000 atk unchained had an effect that stay, after this card was destroyed, it come back during the end phase. But it don't 😂 I had another bug yesterday, idk if its just me but i attacked the blue link of sky striker with my borrelsword( the one that can attack 2 times). But the sky striker link was under the spell that say monster in your extra zone are not affected by card effect when its the only monster on your side ( and it was). But somehow my effect resolved and he loses half of its attack. Good for me. Hoo and last week i was playing zombies. But the opponent got the trap that says every time a card is send yo GY you lose 300 LP. When i threw 2 card from my hand ( WITH THE SKILL) i took the damage. Is the skills shouldn't trigger card effects?

I wanna add that playing Droll & Lock Bird is also good against Lyrilusc, specially if you also opened Droplet. The deck loves to search a lot and cutting it to one search proves to be enough for them to end with at least one body and whatever staples they opened. Another thing for archetypal counters... Super Quants, the superior Xyz deck that has a boss monster that wants as many materials as possible can counter the birds if you get the enough different names in Great Magnus to stop them from searching and also has a non-target spin.

Agree, he's missing a lot of outs many decks have to answer Lyrilusc such as Redoer, Samsara, Tiger King, Arc Rebellion, Unchained Link monsters, Needle Ceiling, Effect Veiler, etc. As well as misinformating about other card usage, like how the Cyberse lock or the Gaia trap don't actually work.

lyrilusc isnt tier 0 lol, the same grand prix you showed yes the deck had 30 entrants but only 6 topped and the same exact tournament 0 were in top 4. the deck has only won 1 tournament since it was released. saying its tier 0 is omega copium. its a good deck in the middle of between tier 1-2 in my opinion but nowhere near tier 0.

i feel like the deck being as format warping as it is is a strong enough argument for a high tier 1 / near tier 0 placement tbh

@@mekklord yeah i could agree with it being tier 1 cause of how it warped the format, but not tier 0 in the slightest. if we're calling it tier 0 it has to be the most fraud tier 0 we've had if it has only won 1 tournament since release. meanwhile another tier 0 like tachyon was constantly dominating tournaments since it dropped.

@mekklord Sorry but the real broken deck in duel links is fleur and you can't say anything otherwise, lyrilusc are perfectly fine, strong but fine, I don't play the deck but I faced it in ladder and kc cup and at least their skill is broken which is the breeze of fresh air, I'm tired of facing broken skill driven decks like seraph and fluer, infernoble etc.

@@xSerenaYGO my issue with it is as follows. Sure book of eclipse can work but they're likely drawing a bunch and the skill can let them shuffle it back to deck to play again. Also chain so they won't lose that turn if you do somehow break their board. The best card is droplet but it's very paywalled. Droplet as a UR in this box and I wouldn't have minded as much. Also imo dumons is still the worst. Especially with rank 5 utopia in play too. The skill plays the whole deck for them. I came across a player who set up evilswarm to yoink a card from hand and star seraph xyz, had 3 set (2 crackdowns and 1 bom), and had 2 veilers in hand. If that isn't one of the most oppressive turn 1s in this game then I don't know what is....

tbf getting 4 overlay units in one turn is kinda hard... though i do expect people to run every card that ads overlay units when it comes out XD.... im kinda suprised noone is basicly running that. i do understand the quick play alito drops but the rest are actually good XD. i even run xyz reborn... i dont understand people calling it tier 0 when it isnt... its as anoying as blue eyes has been for months XD. you say no that let you do stuff... oh really tell me what diffrence is there to a bounce and something sent to gy... at least bounce you sitll have it. what lyra is its a blue-eyes counter. its not a garbage format. its people just saying oh we dont want change... when we didnt have change for 6 months.

I love lyrilusc. I play xyz stormraze over bird humming but sometimes it’s fun with 4 direct attacks and sometimes it’s fun crashing into a 4k beatstick with damage equalizer birb (cause stormraze makes lp +1500 at the start.) why are you teaching people to counter me and my fellow birds😭😭 also wtf is poisonous wind how have I never heard of it? That is rude but yeah ding and idp do annoy us a hell of a lot.

Maybe in future videos show choke points to target in the talked about deck’s combo instead of just showing us a million tech cards that might help. Lol. The value in matchup knowledge is understanding why you interrupt a combo when you do. Not just having no idea and throwing anti-meta hate at them lol

Lyriluscs definitely warped the meta, but they aren't tier 0. In the tournament you referenced, only 30 out of 149 players entered with Lyrilusc, slightly more than 20%. Only 6 of the 30 Lyrilusc players topped and none made top 4.
