I love how nearly every level in which you lose FLUDD is ranked as "INSANE" which is pretty accurate to how some of them felt in my childhood.

To be fair, the controls in Sunshine aren't very tight and you have to compensate a lot with flood because of it. All other Mario games, including 64, have way better controls. Always amazes me how well speedrunners move in Sunshine.
@MOORE4U2

@@4203105 If you grew up with it, you get used to it. I think Mario is nerfed a bit from SM64 to encourage more FLUDD use.
@4203105
@4203105 Жыл бұрын
@@MOORE4U2 I don't think nerfed is the right word here. That would be right if Mario couldn't jump as far or high or was missing moves. But that's not the case. The problem is that he doesn't react to your inputs as snappy as he does in other games. The controls don't feel tight, more floaty. You can probably compensate for that by doing your inputs way in advance, but it's not fun gameplay.

So even the villagers on the airstrip believe Mario is the one who caused all the damage with the paint, and still trust him to clean it up by telling him to take the one magical pump that can save the island. That's like, if you heard someone stole a car last night, you met someone who looked exactly like the culprit, and you gave them the keys to keep your car safe for you

Yeah, that one was rough. For me, the hardest one was in Delfino Isle where you have to ride the Yoshi on top of some boats to reach a small island with that wiggly-spounge material that requires fruit juice to clear. I tried to be better like Speedrunners or Let's Players but sometimes no matter how hard I try at things, they are very difficult for me to achieve. I think I only got all the shines twice but for the sun 🌞 next to the profile I moved on and like watching but not playing it since my past much anymore mainly because on the credits unless you are some pro Chuggaconroy says as much headache and frustration as the game causes, he still thinks it is a good game.
