1) I was only there for the latter half of the stream, but I'm amazed that the thumbnail wasn't Big the Cat considering you spent 2 hours on his stuff 2) I did some testing of my own, and Big apparently wont grab the fish at 0m if it swam to him. Only if he reeled it in 3) I somehow got a shiny Type: Null (now named Twinkle Park) during the stream, so now I have a permanent reminder of how bad Big's later missions are

Alpha putting himself through the pain that is the DX port instead of the Dreamcast is hard to watch. SA1 already has some collision issues, but DX is somehow significantly worse.

I dont really get why people are hating on this game ngl. Like sure the big levels suck but the rest of them are pretty fun to control and have enjoyable campaigns with amys issue just being length while knuckles,Gamma,and sonic all have great levels that use your abilities well, tails is fun but his campaign is definitely held back by the fact its just sonics but with racing but he’s definitely also fun to play as. Really while adventure 2 is better this game is still atleast a better game then forces or lost world by a long shot.

Big honestly even that big if you know what to do. Thing is the game very poorly explains how to go through bigs levels properly. Such as mashing an and b alternatively at a certain pace to real in the fish easier. Using the directions to move the fish, pulling down when you get a bite, etc. I personally prefer this game over SA2 because it doesn’t expect you to go to infinity and beyond to 100% like that one can at times. I also prefer the variety SA1 has. I like SA2 as well but that game also has a good amount of stuff it doesn’t tell you.

I feel like the stage variety is better than SA2 in terms of what each character gets. Like the sonic stages feel more distinct from one another than the sonic stages in sa2. They sort of make up for it by having more of the alternate missions though

He is important to the story, but only because of how they wrote it. But they definitely could've made his later missions easier.
