Seeing how close you were to the wall on almost every corner and smooth racing lines was absolutely sick 👍

Alright, a couple of thoughts: - great use of upper part of screen to show GT40 in real time, meaning the real opponent is there all the time - this race reveals rubberbanding in its finest: your other races end within 3:01 with GT40 trailing your skids, while here the same GT40 arrives 19 seconds later - the ending was nerve-racking, what a showcase; not only the difference was below 0.1s, but you nearly touched the last corner wall, which would probably make you lose - Yellowbird fan service - great upload - would watch again - I have a few bullet points left - so I'm using them up so they don't go to waste - have a good day!

That last corner was panic-inducing indeed, because I knew from previous attempts that I needed as much exit speed as possible to outrun the GT40, but it requires a really clean line. I was almost sure that I about to clip the wall, but I would have lost too much speed if I let off the accelerator and played it safe. I must have been a pixel shy. Glad you enjoyed!

Jesus christ those laps are perfect! Excellent driving. Also. Each time I see the A-Spec RX-7 it makes me realize how much I miss it on later GT games. At least it's a thing in GT2.

Yes! RX-7 now were getting on the Big Boi! The rotating dorito is unleashed!!! Great driving as always man!

Thats actually crazy, i guess 45 seconds is the limit where you can win
@TeaKanji9 ай бұрын
Hmm, I tried it with the same RX-7 with racing modifications and max downforce and I was able to overtake the GT40 after the last corner with a 33-second wait. If you get two good wallrides at the wide 180 left turn each lap, I believe 35 should be possible. The Dodge Concept Car with racing modifications should be a bit faster than the RX-7 as well, so I'd say 36-38 is probably around where the limit is, at least with my current skills.

Didnt know the rx7 could get this much of a boost from gearing. You used all of that track and then some. I (like) the downshifting into some of the turns.
@TeaKanji9 ай бұрын
It's funny actually, with this gear setup, you need to short-shift it a bit since the RPM drops are so small. That and the ride height are where the big boost in acceleration is coming from, yeah. Downshifting to 2nd for that second 90 degree right turn worked well for me as a cue for knowing when to turn in, as I tended to mess up often there by turning too early/late or carrying too much speed and hitting the outside wall.

Hey can you do a challenge race with Tom's angel t01 . It is a pretty fun car to drive and can hit hard even at 195hp
@patricklopes-vtec8 ай бұрын
But you'll need racing suspension, maybe with TCS and ACS too.

The ginetta is a true nightmare out of control 😮 on engine power can be good, hope he does and we can see how It can be controlable ❤

With ACS and TCS?
@TeaKanji8 ай бұрын
Nah, I never bother with assists in this game. Most traction issues can be fixed with gear setup, so TCS isn't that necessary.

That's impossible, with all tuned up and gears shortened you can't get more than 160kph 😵 no matter what you do at the tune up 😓

He will find a way. He is in the Vector M12 drivers head.
