I wouldn’t call little Mac the worst character. His counter can actually save himself against projectiles offstage. His wall jump is useful in some stages. All of his smash attacks do more damage if the super armor is hit. His forward smash compares to Ganondorf, but without the range. He has ledge trap with down smash. Side special has a lot of range. Up special could use some work, but overall little Mac is not to be fucked with. Oh, and also, K.O. Punch. Very nerve racking to stop and almost guarantees a kill. Not broken at all. I genuinely think that little Mac is great.

Being a Little Mac main can be difficult, but you did really well for being new to Ultimate Mac! Thankfully, I learned a few things from Mac Nation Discord to help you on your journey. A few general notes about Little Mac: •Little Mac CAN walljump and it's actually extremely good. •Nearly always want to Side-B first when recovering. Directional airdodge is better in some situations to save your Side-B. •Neutral-B's heavy armor can absorb 9.6% damage per hit and increase up to 16.8% by the end of the charge. •Mac's tilts, smashes, and Neutral-B punch all take priority to ground moves within 9% of his damage done vs received. I.e. full charge Neutral-B beats Samus' fully charged Neutral-B. •KO punch is great for recovering 1:40 - KO->Side-B-> double jump back to ledge 1:42 - counter would have given enough horizontal motion to recover. 2:20 - straight lunge->airdodge cancel (frame 1 armor; cancelable in 32 frames) immediately after double jump could have saved you. Alternatively, counter could be a good option. 4:17 - Down-B during, or KO after Samsora hit you should allow a recovery. 5:29 - Neutral-B eats most turnips, Peach's up-air 6:35 - Mac has a menagerie of anti-airs. In this case upsmash would have been best. 7:45 - I don't know if wall jump would have saved without the double jump, but yes he can. 8:08 - Neutral-B would have eaten that Up-air 8:23ish - I believe you could have walljumped after your double jump from d-air and made it back to ledge with a side-b. LM's wall jump goes surprisingly high. 19:25 - still had Side-B to ledge and directional airdodge I know this is April Fool's, but I'm getting to the… punch of misinformation.

Real talk, little Mac isn't so bad on wifi. Plus he's got some super favorable matchups. Like I destroy little Mac with Paula, do pretty well with Gannon, but I get murdered when I use cloud. Grabs are so damn important when fighting little Mac and if you have a character with garbage grabs (like Cloud) a GOOD little Mac can fuck you up. Played a really good Mac first to 10. Won 10-2 with Pala, 10-4 with Gannon, lost 1-10 with Cloud. My Cloud isn't bad either, but it's just such a bad matchup given that Mac can armor through so many of the attacks and cloud also doesn't have great off stage camping.

Dr. Mario has some ok mobility, good kill confirms with his neutral special, and racks up damage like its harvesting season. One read while Dr. Mario is performing a combo is all it takes to go from 0% to a solid 50%. The only bad thing he’s got is his recovery His neutral air has a unique ability where the longer it is played, the more damage and knock back it gives. For example you jump in the air twice and land a neutral air, it deals a good 10% and can combo into a down tilt, grab, pummel if necessary, down throw, and into up air. It’s a true combo and deals 30-40% Yes I’m a Dr. Mario main yes I get destroyed in Online play but I love the Doc

Zero, you hate tournaments because of the travel, smelly Weebs, and the hostility (though I think you'd actually be loved if you made a comeback now), but you clearly crave the competitiveness of it still. You need to enter the wifi tournament series Alpharad and Penguinz0 are running. And even if I am wrong in assuming you don't miss it, you should totally at least show up for a surprise Thug finals for whoever wins the next one (refer to Alpharad's level 9 cpu tournament to know what Thug finals is). It's crazy how good you still are without competitively practicing. As a huge fan of yours both as a smash player and person, I think it'd be awesome to see the retired champ step into the ring once more and just flex on the rest of the smash scene just to remind them that there is still that Chilean beast ready to wake up from its twitch streaming slumber and remind the smash community why Zer0 was a name to be feared in bracket.
