Legit in the middle of an allegations case rn and i felt it when zero said he'd feel uncomfortable if his kids were at a tournament with him. Like I hold no ill will to the friends that are distancing but still believe in me just because public optics it looks bad. Have a best friend who's daughter I have babysat many times when he was my roommate and I don't see her anymore but she's still homie he's still awesome and neither of them think I'm guilty but it'd just look bad for us to be hanging. I get it it's hard but maybe once I beat the allegations we can be friends again.

Not really. The allegations themselves weren't the problem, it was the fact that so many of them were true, and either nothing was done about them or the players weren't reprimanded enough and returned to the community. Which resulted in an alarming number of prominent figures in the community being involved in, either directly or by assosciation, acts of inappropriate behaviour (to put it lightly). If the people who the allegations were about didn't do the things they were alleged of doing, the community would still be considered a safe space where people are held accountable for their actions, and this wouldn't be an issue.
