The Beatles one and only tour of Australia in June 1964 was incredible although the arrival in Sydney was dismal because of the torrential rain but their arrivals in Adelaide and Melbourne were incredible with thousands upon thousands of fans attending to see them (Adelaide with almost half a million people.) plus their live performances in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and the famous televised 📺 concert in Melbourne were incredible!, Australia was never the same again after The Beatles came because they'd actually changed it!, along with the sound of popular music itself!, God bless The Beatles!!🎶☮️🧡🎸🎵

The Australian press really stand out in comparison to British and American media interviews of the Beatles in this era. They ask more interesting questions, they GET the jokes and laugh along with the boys, and the whole atmosphere is really relaxed. Australian culture is much more laid back and irreverent than Britain and America, which suits the Beatles just fine and it shows. Makes me proud to be a Sydney girl and to see that the OZ media didn't irritate the boys - they had fun!

I wonder why they only toured Australia only once. The fans screaming their lungs out would have enticed them to return. At this time, the Beatles didn't mind the press conferences. By 1966, you tell their demeaner was totally different.
