@@the_guitar_trooper You do outstanding work in every phase of your "video product." The concise telling of a sometimes complex story while maintaining chronological correctness and your photos, record clips and "the little known facts" give texture to the story that I was first introduced to on the Sullivan show February 9, 1964 as a 13 year old boy. I've read and collected as much Beatle lore as possible over the years. I can attest to the accuracy and completeness of your presentations. Producing such a high quality product requires hard work, patience, perseverance and creativity. I can see that it is a labor of love for you that gives a great deal of satisfaction. Thanks for sharing with us, and thanks for the channel.

Greetings! I’ve been watching your videos now and why they are my favorite is because I am from the precise time period you present! Even though it’s fantasy, I always felt like I was “special” for having a Beatle’s record before they hit America. Now, if you read the comments, I’d love to hear the history of The Moody Blues. In 1966-67 We formed a band and the first song we practiced was “Go Now”. I love that song to this day. Gianni❤

Hey Buddy! Fantastic job. I was just running through my Beatles on Spotify while I was removing to shower faucets. The bathroom has great acoustics with a portable JBL speaker. We saw Blackberry Smoke up in Napa on Saturday night in the Uptown theater. What a great Southern band. They are just fantastic. Remind of the old Allman bros and Skynrd days. They have three fabulous guitarist. They also use a veritable museum of guitars. Just a fabulous show. The funny thing is. The audience is our age. We still rule my friend. Stay well.

@@the_guitar_trooper what really surprised me was that Pete Best was not only hired by other bands after being sacked by The Beatles, but also had/has bands of his own. I was no more impressed by his drumming than John and Paul were, and although he his still touring with his band, I've never heard a thing by him.

I have my own “yesterday” moment. . . “Remembering” our bowling ally summer dance floor conversion in summer of 1962. . . “Love love me do”. . . I repeat, summer, 1962. . . In Aylmer, Quebec, Canada. Maybe now, I can understand how that happened I first “heard” of the Beatles in November, 1963. . . about three weeks before the Kennedy assassination. . .

There is a video on KZbin which compares the drumming in all three takes of 'Love Me Do'. Clearly, Ringo was the superior musician. However, McCartney sings the chorus off-key and obviously nervous. How he was able to clean things by the time Andy White does his thing is a mystery.

This is great. I think it was New Year's Day 1962 when they first auditioned for Decca, as Brian had signed them to NEMS in 1961.
