I think the best analogy for what you were trying to describe is a cd shuffle; or a jukebox where each of these songs were a single. For people who grew up cotemporaniously with these records, this is the way we first heard the "new songs" of The Beatles. So to complain many years later when we all became more familiar with the albums they actually released in England is a little disingenuous. Horses for courses. I have the first pressing in mono, on the back cover it tells you to see the titles on the lable for the running order.

@beatleman69 Hi! I have an early pressing mono with "See Label.." Also a 1968 Stereo copy ( I think 2) with "See Label..." on the black subsidiary label.
