Now do any of your 12 track Stereos play the Dave Dexter "East Coast" mix, with a slight, hardly even noticeable hint of reverb on each track. If "Think For Yourself" ends with an echo on the very last guitar chord, then you got a Dexter. I have also read that many, many Canadian Stereo pressings also contains the Dexter. If the chord ends flat and dry, then you got the more common US Stereo mix.

I like to say thank you for the reply and for teaching me that as a Canadian who at 71 years old still am finding out new things about Canadian Beatles Albums as l have a great many and not one of my Canadian lp's has the RIAA on it but took to looking it up as well and to my shock it appears that some do have it and l have always used that as a factor in figuring if an lp's was A USA OR Canadian copy - live and learn - thanks for the lesson and keep the great episodes coming

Its weird about the 1987 CD release using the US cover but the 1987 LP version they used the UK slick with the Parlophone logo in the bottom righthand corner with the brown print. The hype stick is worth more that the album.

I find all of the American LP tracklists pretty controversial but taking If I Needed Someone off of Rubber Soul was absolutely criminal 🥴

Especially since that was the most Folk Rock and Byrds inspired track on the album, given that Capitol was aiming for that type of album!

Great Rubber Soul collection! I've been to many Beatles fests throughout the years! I've been to the ones that are in New Jersey area, that still go on now! Unfortunately the last few that I attended have not been the same! There are only around 10 dealers at the shows now, not around 100 like there was for many years! And the guests are also not as good as many have passed away..😢 Sad, but reality. Take care and Happy holidays, Allan

I think the best analogy for what you were trying to describe is a cd shuffle; or a jukebox where each of these songs were a single. For people who grew up cotemporaniously with these records, this is the way we first heard the "new songs" of The Beatles. So to complain many years later when we all became more familiar with the albums they actually released in England is a little disingenuous. Horses for courses. As Ringo says: Peace and Love, Terry and Julia Tutor

Green Target label is from 1969-1971, and The Beatles’ albums (except for the Apple releases) were only available on that particular design for one year (1970-1971) before switching to the Apple label.

The plastic purple inner sleeve is at least from 1981, as per the printed copyright at the bottom of the sleeve.

Every Beatles fan should read Bergenstadt’s more recent publication about Jimmy Nichol . This book is very well researched ( not surprised given Jim is an attorney) and beautifully written. It certainly answers some of the more in depth questions may have regarding the spring of ‘64 tour when Ringo was ill and missed a few gigs.
