I’ve been stuck in a rut for a bit 6 months I have been off making music after a few years and I do watch a few producers but as I use logic x there were not many around to learn from. So I went at it alone and I can make beats 🎧 and I have a few. I use to make drumstep jungle and house music so the transition it’s been a challeng to make these type of beats as the formula it’s very different. What I’m saying is I found your video very easy to follow and useful I was watching the one about the clap 👏 and I was thinking where did he get the clap from and I worked out you have to save and add your own samples to the sampler. Then it’s all down hill from there. I will be watching and taking notes from the videos on KZbin and I think after watching 3 of the videos I’m going to take the full course. Nice finding you.

@@BeatMakingBasics YH thanks I really appreciate that. When I started doing online music stuff back in 2007 it was hard to find anything and anyone that really liked to share their experiences. I’ve done a degree I went back as a ripe old 30 year old and finished with a hon in music technologies. It was eye opening but it was more catered for how and why things work with this and that really like the things and modules but beatmaking was not in there as much as nowadays. DJing was I was good and radio too. Anyway today I e made 4 16 bars I think I can arrange tomorrow. Thank you for giving me that little nudge to make beats again.

Go to bricksaudio.com grab his all white bricks kit ... I also just dropped a kit you can get called "Rap Lords Drum Kit" ... snatch that up too beatmakingbasics.com ... you can also find sounds on splice or search google .. then import them into the quick sampler as you create
