I'm sure you know this already, but since you mentioned searching... You can use the keyboard to search in the current folder (just start typing when you're in load mode). That can still be a pain depending on how you have things organized, since you still have to navigate to the right place first, but it does help to find the 2 kick samples in a giant folder of random sample files...

The Deluge is such a magical device, easy enough for a beginner but in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing it turns into an absolute little beast of a groovebox. Nice job.

This is my first look at the Deluge. The aesthetics are wild. It’s like an old Casio calculator mixed with a panel station wagon, that crashed into a 70’s disco light floor.

What a great beat! I've found that while creating patches and kits is a bit (a lot) of a hassle, the clip-building and performance aspect of the Deluge is truly amazing. Neat loop machine aswell.

Agreed if Deluge had a more usable screen it would be out of this world. I hope Rohan is up for doing a v2 someday. (Of course I still think Deluge is amazing)
@TheRealBobHickman4 жыл бұрын
If they have enough room to add it to the firmware, they could support an external display that gets updated over MIDI, perhaps with a pass-though since you mostly only need it during editing mode.
@HenleyBailey4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, it's great even with the screen and once you get used to it, it's usable (if a bit slow and cumbersome) but if they could build a V2 and put a nice small OLED screen in with a bit more info, then it would take it up a few notches. Love mine though and would buy again in a heartbeat.

Hi, I love to watch your tutorials and I'm so impressed what skills you have and knowledge. I was trying Maschine app on my laptop with my komplete 32 but anytime I just fell it's not what I like. I'm planning to buy hydrasynth desktop plus groovebox/sampler and here I have a question, would you be possible to make this same project as you did on Deluge with Roland MC 707 ? What do you think about this setup MC707 + hydrasynth ? My genre is electronic music plus recording real instruments and creating some own samples. I'm not lessoning techno or hip hop music but really like atmospheric, space, deep sound ( I like the electron sounds but too expensive for me) Sorry for many questions but just wonder what would you recommend? Best Regards.
