I bought a beats pill because my Marshall Middleton stopped working. Three weeks later after trying to revive the f**king thing my Marshall Middleton came back to life. No complains from the beats pill, this thing sounds fantastic and I love it. My Marshall Middleton sounds great too. It is hard to decide which one is better, but I don’t care. I love them both

I just recently copped a soundcore motion plus for 75 bucks!! it has stereo sound due to it's having two tweeters, 2 drivers, and 2 passive subwoofers! Highly customizable eq, which really brings out its true potential, and a great aux in with zero lag for my djing needs. If I had to guess, the Pill might get a little louder, and prolly has better bass...? But still I can essentially get two for the price of one Pill if I know where, and when to look. Oh speaking of Aux, do you have any idea if the Beats Pill has any lag when you plug into the aux via usb-c?

That sounds like a great deal! I agree - feature-wise, the Beats falls short in a lot of ways vs. similar or cheaper Soundcore, JBL, etc. products. For the "aux" USB C connection, there's very little lag in my experience. Better than a traditional 3.5mm aux for sure.

This new Beats Pill is cool and all, but the one thing that really turns me off like a lot of modern Bluetooth speakers these days is it doesn't have a direct Aux input. I'm a dinosaur when it comes to listening to my music, as I'm still the 5 people in the world who still use an iPod and downloads music.😂 Plus a direct sound input saves me much more battery life on my 12 yr old iPod which can barely hold a charge as it is. So I'll stick with my Beats Pill+ for now.

Most modern "BLUETOOTH" "PORTABLE" Speakers don't have aux anymore. It's 2024. They're like Bluetooth 5.0-5.3 which is low latency, but if you like it wired you can connect it with USB-C for lossless audio.

I have the red one, and my question is that something vibrates inside while a song with pronounced bass is playing. I want to know if it is normal or perhaps a factory defect.

There definitely shouldn't be any sort of audible vibration. I'd say that's a defect - sounds like there's parts & pieces that arent being held together properly.

Can I think this is basically an Apple product with the Beats logo on it? I’m guessing it was completely engineered by Apple? The rare fire issue with the beats pill plus was a product that wasn’t designed by Apple. Despite all this, I’m still nervous to move from JBL to what I want to move to - the beats pill. It will sit in the Apple ecosystem better. If they just released a wireless Bluetooth speaker as an official Apple product, I would be way less nervous about it and just get it. Lol.

@@TranceCore3- Yeah, that’s what I want for sure. I want that ecosystem connectivity so much, I’m willing to overstep my fears of it catching Fire. Lol The fact this has been fully engineered by Apple means I know it won’t catch fire like those ones that were designed by beats (and that was super rare anyway) So yeah, I’m just going to get one and enjoy the damn thing. Lol I still love the JBL sound signature. But I also love the sound on my HomePod mini. And I’m super curious to see how this sounds. Watching 20 reviews on it is never the same as owning it. So beats here I come. Lol.

I bought one in red when it first came out and I like it a lot. But during Black Friday week Amazon had the Pill on sale for $99, so I bought a second one (in Kim Kardashian dark grey) so I could play them in stereo mode. It was so worth the extra $99 because they sound great in stereo. Highly recommended if you can get it for < $100.

@@nickolukacSomething to keep in mind about TVs and speakers, yes there are objectively better specs and performance for particular products but there are always subjective experiences. Everyone has different eyes and ears. So both things can be true, that there are superior products but some people will like other sound, bass or picture, colors better than others, usually based on age, ear & eye health. With sound especially, older ears prefer different brands, eq settings, ect. Bose used to make speakers that old folks fancied more than young people, for example. Some people like the vibrancy of oled Samsung and others like true colors on Apple.
