You have to be kidding me. How is this performance years old? There is nothing like this on KZbin... and I have seen hundreds using the same gear, or pretty close mixtures of MIDI controllers, bass synth, sequencers, Soft Synth, nice, big keys synth - there are many performances online with hardware & software synth setups... but not like this one. I hope there are more...

@@yukimizake .... yep oui je les ai vu t'inquiètes je suis allé fouiner tes deux pages direct, c'est pour ça que je te demandais si tu as un autre pour l'acid ! Mais tu as ta chaîne youtube du coup, et c'est déjà plus que pas mal avec tes deux pages soundcloud bien remplies ! :) Je te dis ça mais moi tu sais je me suis fait mes pages soundcloud et mixcloud il y a plus d'1 an, pressé par les proches qui voulaient que je sorte de ma grotte, que je partage mes créations, je suis un divergeant on va dire......!.....Et je l'ai fait ; profil, photos, coucou c'est moi salut......je fais ça ça, et puis j'aime les cacahuètes, Mozart et la disco......mais en fait ......salut !!! Et depuis 1 an mes pages sont blanches ! °o° J'ai juste mis 2 mix sur mixcloud comme ça , pour dire quoi.....et pourtant niveau prod je peux pas dire que je chôme depuis 20 piges maintenant ! Mais c'est clair que ce serait bien un coup de rouge là hop, parce que ça reste intéressant de partager quoi qu'il en soit et via le net c'est une ouverture différente que dans les soirées, teufs, festi ; mais c'est pas si "virtuel" que ça au final ! :) Je t'ai laissé quelques comm sur quelques tracks de tes pages....tu as pour le moins tout un monde à toi bien coloré, et même multicoloré, bien cool !! ;) Je pense vraiment que je vais me prendre un coup de sang très vite et commencer à balancer mes prod ; ou demander à ma p'tite femme de le faire pour moi ! haha.... Elle a grave l'habitude elle c'est son taf depuis encore plus long ! Moi suis trop timide malgré les apparences ! lol Au cas où si tu vois dans tes commentaires un gars avec un haut de forme noir, un smoking noir, un lapin crétin et des cacahuètes.....bah c'est moi ! hihi C'est bien cool en tout cas continues à continuer ! ;) schuzzzz

hi thanks for the jam can you tell me which machine chimes in about 3:10? it sounds like background space rain sort of like electric varied space rain, or something. high pitch, can't tell if its the cyclone or the volca? thanks it's a good set, nice selection of instruments.

Hi, Im having trouble understanding the manual for the Beatstep. I want to know what are the presets in Control mode for ? I know that in Sequence mode I can press Recall and a pad and store or recall one of 16 sequences. But in Control mode what does Recall + Pad# do ?

yeah no I said nothing ! haha .... stupid question .... I thought it was too weird to control machines with a Launchpad ! oops .... next She looks good Arturia ! The Volca I have them (keys, bass, beats, fm, modular) and I would never part with them, they are too good ! For personal acidity I prefer the little Mam MB33 .... ;)

You are controlling the Cyclone with ableton as well to change bass lines? how is your midi conections? you need a audio interface with thru, or with two outs or something? I am trying to figure out how to control my volca beats and volca bass sending midi from ableton at the same time, but don't know if this is possible, any help will be appreciated!! thanks!!

Haxixer Thanks! I use a MOTU micro lite interface. So I've got 5 MIDI inputs and 5 MIDI outputs. As the Volca Series don't have a MIDI out socket, you can't chain your devices. You can hack you Volcas by soldering a MIDI output plug (it's a common mod), or you can use a MIDI interface like my MOTU micro lite to use your Volcas with its ouptuts. :)

Question - can the Arturia Beatstep control the Volca Beats directly without getting a computer involved? Also - can you use the Beatstep to chain Volca Beat sequences together (like a song mode) or at least switch between sequences from the Beat Step?

Unfortunately, the Volca Beats doesn't support remote pattern changes. I made my patterns with Ableton Live. Also, there's a standard MIDI output on the BeatStep, but it's a monophonic sequencer. So you can only trigger one drum at a time.

Yes, you can. You can also set up the MIDI note for each pad. :)

Can the Beatstep just send clock to a synth that has an internal/local arp/sequence programmed? I want the Beatstep to be the master clock for several hardware synths, each doing its own thing. Thanks for any feedback/direction !

+PAWELDUN Music It has a only a midi output. If you want to sync it, you must use the midi over USB feature.

I need something that can give me this; Pads to punch drum patterns in to cubase. And knobs that i can use in order to tweek software synths .Will i be better of with just a MIDI pad? Or MIDI pads kombined with tweek knobs? Can you or anyone in the comment field name some units that can work on a budgett?
