It’s a difficult one because the WSL in its current form will no longer exist from next season, it’s going to be a brand new league with the history carried over. Also as Gabby rightly pointed out the style of football has changed drastically especially over the last couple of years. We’re seeing a combination of Total Football and ball playing / possession based technical football as opposed to 1950’s English defending. A lot of players have evolved over the last decade too. If we’re talking about the most successful, then Millie Bright and Magdalena Eriksson. Karen Bardsley is definitely the right choice for goalkeeper. Bronze and McCabe for the fullback positions.
