On episode 106 of GOLF's Subpar, PGA Tour pro Beau Hossler joins Colt Knost and Drew Stoltz for an exclusive, in-studio, interview. Coming off a recent 3rd place finish in Pebble Beach, Beau talks what it was like leading the US Open at just 17 years old, why leaving home in California to attend the University of Texas has made him a better all around performer and how being paired with first time golfers in a pro-am nearly cost him his Tour card.

Everyone beating up on Phil and posturing as Human Rights Warriors. Is it wrong for golfers to try and make leverage for more money? Or is it only ok for NFL and NBA players? Tiger Woods has only won $135 million over his 25 year career. That's like 5 or 6 million a year. 200 players in the NFL, 200 in MLB and 200 in NBA all make more than that a year guaranteed salaries. Just sayin.

Unfortunately Phil has the more, more & more disease meaning 100 trillion wouldn’t be enough. If he would stop gambling he might be happy but probably not.

Seems like a good dude and a hell of a golfer but he's a boring interview. He slowly drained all the energy out of this podcast which seems like a difficult accomplishment. Shoutout to Colt and Drew though, love the show

Phil is out on this limb alone now. It’s almost seems like he wasn’t communicating with other top players

Poulter put a brutal bad beat on Beau Hossler that cost Beau his best chance at a win. Poulter barely made the cut which was a miracle in itself, then won from farther back than anyone had won in over 30 years. Then drained that 20 plus footer on 18 to get into a playoff with Beau. Nasty.

Keep in mind Bo that the old swing thoughts got you this far so reversion under pressure is going to treat you just fine.
