The close-up side by side shots of Colin makes him and the other pros feel so relatable, and less like these distant figures you see in the pro tournaments. @SYNG_2 ай бұрын
Great episode. Colin is surprisingly chirpy. But Grant you should check your driver specs. Adding 6 layers of tape under the grip would add roughly 10-15grams of weight and lower your swing weight by 2-3 points. I’m assuming they didn’t add weight back into the head. Trottie would need to put 4-6 grams back into the head.
@HonzaGolfs2 ай бұрын
Brysons SW is all over the place. All that matters is performance. Chasing swing weight is kind of irrelevant because you have to give up a lot of variables to get it. For example by adding head weight you are now affecting shaft flex as well. It will play softer and load and unload differently. Swing weight could now match yes but the club could perform completely differently.
@tomheinrich96382 ай бұрын
ya why wrap 6 just switch to midsize
@roy55155 күн бұрын
I assume there’s a different feel from just using a midsize. I’m guessing the stretched standard grip with 6 layers of tape would feel firmer. BTW, 4 layers would change a standard grip to a midsize.
@roy55155 күн бұрын
Also, don’t worry about the weight as a midsize grip is heavier than a standard grip

Wow, it must be such a blessing to be in the position to do what you love regularily🙏 Golf was the only sport I learned with my dad growing up. He passed away when I was 7 years old before I was ever able to play an 18 with him. After that day I didn’t pick up a club for 14 years, it was too expensive for my mother of 3 sons to afford. Soccer it was, cleats and shin pads and I was on my way. About 2 years ago I mustered up the courage to grab my dad’s old clubs from the garage and take them for a spin. Over this last year I’ve fell in love for the sport, I often wonder what my life would be like if he hadn’t have passed away and I continued to take on golf as a priority with him. Every time I’m out there my mind is clear, when I do think, it’s about my dad. He guides me on the course and I’m so happy I could continue his love for golf in my life. This is such an expensive sport and people don’t talk about it enough. To be a kid and playing it everyday is a dream for so many out there but not made possible due to financial restrictions. I hope everyone can find there way some how to this beautiful sport! Grant keep up the great work and remain grateful ❤️ You are such a pure personality and have even encouraged me to pursue my faith more seriously.
