Beau Kicks Off the 2024 Teaching Schedule! - Silver Spring, MD, USA

After a wonderful and restful break, I started my 2023 teaching schedule today with a puppy class followed by a trick dog class. It is always a challenge to suss out the dogs and handlers during the first class, but I am eager to see where each team will go during our time together. Before the puppies arrived Beau played on the confidence-buildingg obstacle course to be sure it was fit for the little ones 😉 and was a very good boy amidst all the chaos of bouncy puppies and their barking. He made a great demonstration dog and got some good work in of his own, namely calmly observing the class. A+ for everyone! Oh, don’t worry - in that last clip Beau didn’t knock me on my bum too badly…just halfway across the club. 😆🐾🐾🥊🍑

You are so right! We do all this stuff to keep his brain engaged. Dogs need mental stimulation, even when the human is exhausted. 😎

He had on his head muff/neck gaiter from chillydogs.ca - it can be cold in the club and I like to keep his neck warm.
