Jester is in a sense different from all the other female NPCs and Guests. Beau in those situations was being your typical Wattpad fic fuckboy. Ok, this is more of a general thing than something specific to the video, but campaign 2 seems so much more interesting than campaign 1. Don’t get me wrong, the performances were still amazing and there were still great moments, but the characters in this one are just so much more layered and complex. I think that has to do with everybody playing against their type. Like, in one party we have a Wizard afraid of his own spells, a goblin thief that’s trying to integrate into society, and a physically weak halforc Warlock that betrays his patron in a the of the greatest powermoves in dnd history! And that’s not to mention the rest of the cast. It’s this kind of off-the-wall character building that provides the fodder for a lot of engaging stories.
