I bought a used Beaulieu 5008S in 1982 - having previously exposed many Super 8 cassettes with my father's Sanyo camera. When the Super-8 film was first projected from the Beaulieu, I couldn't believe my eyes at the fantastic image quality that could be achieved with this camera! Image steadiness, depth of field, simply fantastic! In the meantime, I was using the ELMO GS1200 M&O for projection, which at the time was the brightest Super 8 projector that money could buy....

Greetings from Canada. Great to see a channel showcasing Super-8mm and Beaulieu. However, the company name Beaulieu, is pronounced “bowl-yu”, best way I can spell it. I understand you’re a Brit, and no offence to you, but it’s a French company and that is the correct pronunciation. Aside from that, I look forward to more of your videos. Perhaps some sample footage from these great cameras? Thanks.

He’s using the English pronunciation. The national motor museum in England is in a village called Beaulieu, which is pronounced exactly the way he says it in this video.
