I played against blatant wallhackers and then subtle wallhackers in back to back games on standard. It’s really bad right now. The blatant wallhackers were immediately noticeable in the prep phase and ran out the map shooting at us through walls. Easy to tell. The subtle wallhackers were too many “hmm that’s weird” moments until watching the match replay convinced me after seeing them pretending to shoot through common soft walls then adjusting to exactly where someone’s head was with no info whatsoever. The thing that confirmed it for me was when one of them got a wallbang and then flicked to spray transfer to the head of another of my teammates who was across the map but lined up near the first guy that got wallbanged. He didn’t kill him of course so we didn’t know it was wallhacks at the time but seeing it in the match replay made me relieved that I wasn’t crazy and that these people are actually so ill that they will cheat in standard.

It’s not just that people are cheating, it’s how powerful and blatant all these cheaters are. Siege has had hordes of closet cheaters for ages now (and I honestly prefer rage cheats because closeters make you feel like you suck). Obviously an overlay which gives enemy positions is hard to detect but shooting mid sprint at twice the regular sprint speed? Even the ‘closeters’ barely have to try hiding anymore.
