Although my favorite couple is Chandler and Monica, I like Ross and Rachel as a couple. I find it irritating sometimes that people nowadays seem to hate the couple based on a few scenes especially during seasons 3 & 4 with some Mondler fans using that to label them "toxic" all throughout the series and say that's the reason they like Chandler and Monica. @@piaasantani9823 You do know that out of the two of them, Rachel's the more toxic one, not Ross. Rachel was the one who always sabotaged Ross' dates. He doesn't reciprocate. When they were dating, yes Ross was more on the wrong but afterwards it was definitely skewed towards Rachel. By season 8, those traits were fading away and by season 10 it felt good for them to come back together. I just wish she kept her job at Paris though.

I think the reason why they were so “toxic” is because it was a “right person, wrong time” type of relationship. And when they did, they realized that they did not want to lose each other so they began to behave like children. And it was these acts of immaturity that led them to break up. Being toxic is not the same as behaving like children, being toxic is being possessive, always having to know where the other is, you always want to know who they hang out with. Ross and Rachel weren't like that, they just had jealousy problems because they didn't want someone else to separate them because they loved each other so much. Do you know what I mean?
