This house has interesting layout. It almost look like they never cleaned the carpet or squatters made it nasty. The Mold in that basement is nasty wicked, glad you went back to get your mask; the mold on the ceiling tiles was crazy! As always great explores. Keep Orange Crushing It!

Another great video! I looked up the mold crystals and the closest I could find is Mucor mucedo. Which is a fungus that is commonly known as pinmould. Be safe friend ❤

Where there is workspace and pencil sharpeners there was a hobbyist, model builder or wood worker taking careful measurements and marking lots of cuts. My dad would have had that basement filled with remote control model aircraft made from scratch and from every era of aviation. His flying Snoopy dog house was the best ever. I wonder if you ought have eye cover when in such a hazard zone. Be safe and take us traveling on!

Great explore Brandon beautiful home but you are definitely right it flooded and I bet they turned the power back on just to keep it from flooding why I don't know since the place is going to get tore down anyway but my god that was disgusting down there I really hope your mask protected you because that's dangerous yeah I would have went through that basement awfully fast and gotten the hell out of there actually the whole house is probably pretty bad should wear your mask all the time it's not worth your health.

Nice house, except for the basement. Good thing you had a mask. Not sure, but I think those crystals hanging from the ceiling tiles in the basement is called efflorescence (buildup of salts from moisture). Supposedly, it’s not as dangerous as black mold.

Hi Brandon, Cool find, I don't want to be a Debbie downer but unless that mask can filter down to .5 microns it isn't going to keep out the mycotoxins that are coming off that mold. And that's what causes the acrid stench.

Cut the drywall right out, and I'd rhw studs are covered and then replace them both.

Do not clean it! It will release mycotoxins in defense which is worse than the mold itself. Best thing is to find a certified inspector and a remidiator. Also read the book, Break the Mold by Dr. Crista. Good luck.
