What a beautiful chord progression!! Thank you for introducing this beautiful and seemingly impossible technique. 🌸

I spent about a week practicing this for a few minutes a day (using your video as a guide), and now I can do this. Still perfecting it, but it works. Thanks buddy. For anyone else out there: the first time you try this it will feel impossible. And I've been playing guitar for like 15 years. Don't get discouraged if this takes a while to learn.

1 hour spent going from the C to the G6/B and back with just the 41312131 picking pattern. My left hand is toast. Tough on a 60 year old guy! But I am getting better at it. Next up AM, by December we will look at the tremolo part......lol

Hi..Does Low G mean the G string is tuned one octave down?
@BS381143 жыл бұрын
Yes. But i would say, high g is tuned one octave up.
@margaretshepherd99833 жыл бұрын
Yes but you must have a special Low G string to do it your normal G string will be to floppy Freemont do a single low g as do Living Water most string manufacturers make Low G sets .

so sad i dont have the nails to try it, any tips on growing proper nails for guitarists? mine alsways break or get little cracks from the sides pretty fast:(
@matyiboogie5313 жыл бұрын
hi, I have the same problem. I solved it by going to my local nail salon. They brush and form a layer of clear acrylic extending on top and beyond my own nail with a length that I choose for about $5/nail. I am a three nail picker only occasionally using my ring finger as needed in this great lesson. My three fake nails slowly grow out on top of my natural nails and so I have to file down the acrylic nails regularly. After about a month I go back to the salon and wait in line with the regular ladies (as the only 70 year old unashamed guy) to remove my worn down acrylic nails and put on fresh fresh. :-)
@peterrandall9523 Жыл бұрын
Quite a lot of guitarists use acrylic nails on their right hand. Especially for flamenco techniques…

The chord shapes are more difficult than the tremolo…. Also, fingernails would really help…
