So I’ve been on guitar for about 30 years. I’ve started on uke fairly recently - and consider myself a beginner. Respect for the instrument. I’m loving this. You clearly have genius knowledge of this device. Mad respect! I’m keeping this video to strengthen my musicality and proficiency. Thank you! Thank you. Thank you.

This seems like an excellent follow up video to "the most beautiful chord progression" video you did a while ago. Before I watched that video I could play the fun song from SpongeBob.. Your video introduced me to fingerstyle, hammer ons and slides in a format that didn't seem overwhelming at all, adding them as I can while just jamming a nice chord combination I really like how you explained broken chords here and I will be practicing that. Thanks dude! I appreciate learning music like this because I like to sit around at night and play in the quiet. I go to the mountains alot and I'm glad that I chose to learn the ukulele and lucky to have found people like you who share knowledge and explain things so well. Thanks again

This video is simply marvelous! Thank you so much for making it I struggled with understanding how to break free from standard ways to play chords on ukulele, even though I have studied musical theory. I only learned how to play piano with it, and string instruments are a total mystery for me. But now I feel like I have something to start on this journey with!

goes to show music might have its patterns, its rights and its wrongs but at the end of the day the free choice of how to play is alot more free than i previously thought. Bravo Marco. Keep up the good work, is there any chance we can have a breakdown of an arrangement for Villancico de navidad -Agustin Barrios. That may be the sweetest classical tune on ukulele yet. i have no doubt you wont be disappointed

Is your uke on a high or low G, I play the piano but I wanna start learning ukulele bc its so "happy"feeling ?❔❔❓and what do u think is the best to begin with,(soprano, concert, tenor, high G...) that would help me a lot ;)
@lennymcdonald8328 Жыл бұрын
Not Marco here, but an avid uke player and builder… I would say get a tenor, and string it with a Low G bass string; the tenor size gives more fullness, and the Low G gives you more possibilities for finger style, with nothing lost over High G. Hope this helps…
