How you film American cockpit despite sterile rule by FAA? Note N4032T is actually A319
@13ralph412 жыл бұрын
sterile cockpit rule is no unnecessary communications/talking below 10,000, nothing about a jumpseat passenger video taping
@MD88Pilot2 жыл бұрын
Only the PF and PM are subjected to sterile cockpit. The jump seater is being quiet and allowing them to do their job which really doesn't interfere. However, I would bet that the airline's SOPs have a policy on videoing in the flight deck.

@@MD88Pilot Yep, it's why we don't commonly see cockpit videos being filmed in the US compared to Europe.

Is there any rule to turn off FDs after landing? Sop doesn’t mention about this

I mean, does it make sense to still have it on?
@godfather40472 жыл бұрын
@@ian9988 well of youre on transit, then why switch it off, you will need it again?
@blitz33912 жыл бұрын
I think it's company based. Some advise to turn it off in the last manual phase of the flight so the pilot doesn't look at the ILS indicators, which become quite sensitive at the very end, and doesn't chase the indicator at all cost. Reminder to look outside.

It used to be SOP many years ago.

Nice vid! But dude, remember to clean your lens before filming!
@LeemWills2 жыл бұрын
I don't see nothing wrong with the lens , maybe it's your phone

@@LeemWills You take a look again and see that foggy look especially in bright light, thats fingerprints on the lens! ;) Otherwise the picture is sharp and fine.

I'm missing checklists and clear callouts. Apart from that, very good landing!

this would be indicative of a flight without passengers

Did you guys notice that the landing light (and taxi light) was turned ON only after landing?
@CaptAviator2 жыл бұрын
No, that was him turning it off.
@renatoroberto2 жыл бұрын
@@CaptAviator So it is inverted. Because to turn OFF, you put it DOWN. And to turn ON, you put it UP. At least here (south america), the A320 is configured in this style, not Boeing style.
@CH-nb9yy2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that's weird, what the heck? He turned on the landing lights, taxi lights, runway turn off lights, and strobe lights after the landing roll loll
@renatoroberto2 жыл бұрын
@@CH-nb9yy Yeap. I worked with A320/A330 family for 11 years before moving to B777 and, despite knowing that every part of the airplane is customizable, i have never seen in all these years this kind of customization. In boeing planes, it is normal to turn ON putting the button to DOWN (landing light, taxi and turn off, strobe and taxi camera light, Boeing 777, for example). But NOT in airbus family.
@CH-nb9yy2 жыл бұрын
@@renatoroberto Yeah, and also I don't think you would turn landing lights and strobe off while still on the active runway?

despite that they turned on the lights exiting the runway..the checklist was incomplete.. the captain was pilot flying and pilot monitoring at the same time ( PM do the after landing procedures) ...it was a butter landing..
@peteconrad20772 жыл бұрын
Depends on company SOP, plus the skipper can tune them off if he pleases. But I agree it looked a little unnecessary.
