'Restoring old films is an extremely time-consuming activity. It involves more than one hour of computer time for each minute of film and requires expensive fast Windows computers that consist of very fast processors and the latest NVidia graphics card. We do the restoration as a hobby, but please realize that it does require the investment in good soft- and hardware tools. Thank you very much for your donation!' Helemaal mee eens. De muziek is ook mooi gekozen erbij. Melancholie ten top.

I believe they even invented the very terms 'modern' and 'futuristic.' What have we gotten since that time? Ah dunno, uh... post-modernism? I never did the research, if I don't understand something new or why so many people like/use it, I just call it 'post modern.' Like mobile phones.

Nederland kende nauwelijks componisten.

Yes, I know what you mean. All the tech and social distancing (and I don't mean the covid shit) nowadays are not the things life is really about. It is about love, loving, social contact, living together with eachother, needing eachother, knowing eachother, eating honest food no junk, not living in some fake social media tech world thing... And it will get worse... UN 2030. Maybe those people thought they were poor some way, but we are mentally poor nowadays. Even the farmers are beaten out of the country, to make the mass food industry have us feeding all.

@@dussie920 If I may advise you, you don't have to live in this negativity. I'm not saying the things you name aren't bad but you are heavily romanticizing the past. And taking so much of your 21st century privilege for granted. There was a lot more poverty, famine, less good health care, more inequality, plus a glooming world war back then. It's natural to feel some nostalgia watching this but this is such a naive worldview.

Ha ha. I once saw a photo of a group of youngsters digging a ditch (or something) somewhere in America during the late 1800s, and one of the girls was a spitting image of Greta Thunberg. So either Greta looks much like girls did in the past, or else she is really a time traveller! 😄
