Beautiful Betsy B24 Liberator Bomber wreck visit Sept 2017

It's taken a while to edit, this was a trip through Kroombit Tops National Park in September 2017 where we got to the wreck of the B24 Liberator Bomber 'Beautiful Betsy'.
The aircraft crashed into the mountainside 27 February 1945 killing all on board. The wreckage was not located until 2 August 1994, when Park Ranger Mark Roe discovered the wreckage among burn bushland.
Many others have published their VLOGs on KZbin and similar of their visits. Within the site, there are designated areas to walk, and areas off limits. Obviously this is remote and not well enforced, though for the sanctity of the site, we stuck to the tracks.

My Grand Dad served as top turret Gunner on that plane. I had no idea that's what became of it. And no, "Steve Dallas" is NOT my real name.

@@bradnallyadventures it's not final. I'm compiling what I know of the Betsy for a post, i hope you'll help me propagate. Thank you for your consideration. Many of of us descendent didn't know the truth of what happened to her. First note: Betsy was the name of the original Captain's young wife.
