My mother was born in Bürmoos, Austria in 1946. It’s not far from where the little Silent Night chapel is. She came to Canada in 1948, but we went back to see her birthplace in ‘72. It’s a beautiful country. And she plays the accordion (and any keyboard instrument actually).

Austria is still the most beautiful country in all Europe, but in those wonderful times, Austria was the center of culture, art, science, and forward thinking. The slaughter that followed these times, was the greatest destruction of human culture, and loss of blood, that ever occurred in Western History. Europe still suffers at the loss!
