Peter, absolutely wonderful video -- connects just as well even if now a few years later .. thanks for making this and keeping it posted. I was just in Bonaire windsurfing every day for 2 weeks with my children. Watching this brings back so much of the detail that it --almost-- brings back the feeling. In some parts I can recognize precisely where you are by what's going under your board. Your soundtrack also hit the spot more than you have any way of knowing. THANK YOU!!!

Yes, sailed there quite a lot when I lived in NL, mostly on the Grevelingen side. It's an awesome spot!

Is it ok to use a drone there? We are in march and hear that it is not allowed, but at the same time I see lots of footage. I would love to use mine if I can.

Russell Armani It's not but nobody cares if you don't bother anyone and make sure to stay away from the airport. Just bring it and shoot awesome footage. Some newer DJI firmware reportedly don't fly in forbidden areas.

Thank you Peter. I fully agree with you and this is my point as well. If we fly using common sense it should be fine. I did check DJI map and we will be staying in the house right outside of the forbidden circle. I would never fly around any airport.

Last week a new sign was installed stating that it is forbidden to fly a drone around Lac Bay/Sorobon area now, so be careful.

Thanks. I will mostly use mine at the villa, to fly out at sea and come back. I won't be testing my luck in public areas. Do they check if you carry a drone when you land and go through customs? To be honest, I don't get it, why they don't allow drones to be used. These beaches are far away from the airport.

No it won't be a problem bringing the drone. It is forbidden now because people think it is funny to fly a drone close to Flamingos.

Try a ND 30 filter shutter speed 60 and you will not see the props of the drone

an den windmühlen bin ich oft mit dem roller vorbeigefahren .... aber mich wollte diese insel nicht , sie hat mir schlechten wind und verletzungen gebracht und zum schluss hatte ich ne woche todeswetter .... 🤮 keine sonne kalt usw.. und das zu haupt season ..😟 ich fahre auch nicht grösser als 6 quadrat
