For any watch if the back case has "STAINLESS STEEL BACK" etched on it then its a chrome plated case, watches with pure stainless steel case will have "ALL STAINLESS STEEL "/ "STAINLESS STEEL" etched.

If it's about 12 hours early, you can adjust the hour by 12 hours, and then set the day/date again
