I have the same set. Im six months in. I was fortunate to get my set for $42 (dented box)! I cook alot. I didn't use the pot seperators. So far my set is going strong. We'll see how long it lasts. Thank you for the follow up.

From what i have read and watched non-stick pans dont really work past a year and sometimes not even, also need to stick to lower heats. While i 100% understand not wanting to hand wash, most of the "staining" will come off with Barkeeper's Friend and elbow grease. I strongly recomend the stainless steel Calphalon: either the set or the individual pots. My mom has ones going on 15yrs which we wash both by hand and in dishwasher and anytime they start looking rough Barkeeper's Friend makes them shiny again. Not non-stick but when cooking with fats (which i personally believe in) i dont often get sticking problems and if anything does all you have to do is heat the pan after cooking, add water & deglaze for a minute or two. As i set up my own house i chose Calphalon SS, a pair of non-enameled cast iron skillets, and a pair of dutch ovens (i was excited to score a Le Cruset second hand way sooner than i expected). I know that these will last me at least the next 20yrs and likely longer. I know it is a little more effort in a learning curve for non-stick users to swap to stainless steel, but it is so worth it!

I have the same exact set and mine are coming up on a year in November. I cook at least 5 days a week and put these in the dishwasher. Mine look brand new compared to yours. Not sure why there is such a difference but I love my set. I do use wood and silicone cooking utensils but wow the difference is huge. Hope your next set doesn’t disappoint. Thank you for your review.

Wow!!! I have no clue what I was doing wrong smh I think a large part of it was the staining from sauces that may have run down the sides

Have you tried using Barkeepers freind to clean the stains?
@charlenethorpe6374 ай бұрын
Were you using silicone utensils made for non stick pans? Just curious because in the video your spoon and tongs didnt appear to be silicone for non stick pans. So thats why i was asking

Okay, the nonstick may have stopped working because it looks like there is cuts and scrapes on the insides of the pot like someone used metal which is a big big big no. My mom taught me to never use metal anything when cooking with anything non stick because it will ruin it. For the stains, try getting some of the pink stuff, take a wet paper towel to dip into the pink stuff (that's actually what it's called) let it sit for an hour or two, scrub with a scrub daddy then rinse. This stuff had my oven door looking brand new.

I use oven off frequently to clean all my stuff. Keeps your stuff looking new. You can still do it! If you do, let me know! ❤

Calphon has been good to me! Not pretty and white but they are affordable (not cheap) and last for years, no issues within the last 5 years. LaCrueset is amazing but it is not very affordable. I have one stainless steel pot and one cast iron. Have had for over 8 years and they function as new and look amazing still.

I wonder if you are cooking with high heat. For ceramic pans, you won’t want to go beyond maybe medium-low. I use Green Pan and had to learn to cook with lower heat, and make sure I use those protectors when I stack them. It also looks like you are cutting food when it’s in the pan. (Those lines on the bottom). Never use a knife on your cookware. If you are cutting food while it’s in the pan, those cut marks are going to make food stick to it.

Thanks for saving me the hassle - was debating the beige pots. I would highly recommend for a good price point - Rachel ray set (stainless steel version). I got them when I first got married and they lasted a very long time - in fact I even got a second set ten years later because I was so happy with them. I still have one of the pots (18 years old!) (they no longer make the big one was pure steel-no Teflon in the original sets) the big pot is thinner in the new sets but still lasted a few years would recommend. Rachel ray's set is a decent price point for the quality, and has rubber handles....the frying pans will need to be replaced, but if you can find the set with the stainless steel pots (without the Teflon) would recommend. Appreciate your review! Thank you!

I just bought the set only cooked in once for Thanksgiving so far so good. I want to see how they work before jumping on the Caraway train. I also have green pan skillets so far so good on those. Non stick pots no matter what brand or price point will last about 3 yrs a little or maybe 5 if you don’t cook much per the experts. I get you cook a lot and are not a Hand wash type of person but there is NO WAY I could NOT at least try to hand wash (maybe wear gloves) with my pots looking like that 👀 That looks like constant high heat and use of non wooden or silicone utensils - like the tongs in the video judging by the scratches on the bottom of your pots.

Use oven off for the bottom let it sit.and use awesome on the paint part.soak them alil in sink for the outside to get stains off and u need to use wood or the plastic utensils otherwise you would damage the non-stick surface. You can see your knife Cuts you made u bake something and you cut it in the pie shapes on the surface.and when u clean them can't use a abrasive scrubber u remove non stick.if u re heat pot,pan while u do dishes ( in sink).any burnt marks will come off easy on the inside bottom😂❤.😊❤ cause of the heat it helps.this is for any non stick pot any brand.

I have a granite set. They were the best set I’ve had. I simply am looking a beautiful for the looks. But granite is the best

The little maps are for you to stick inside your pots and pans in case you have to stack them to protect the non-stick surface you have to protect the non-stick surface, and the frying pans without a top the other tops will fit the pans.❤😊

Wow!! Were you using metal utensils on the nonstick pots/pans? Rather than wood or silicone utensils?? That could be all the difference.
@mommyneedswine2 ай бұрын
I actually used wooden! The issue wasnt scratching, it was the staining and the coating wore off 😩

I’m not sure why they push the porcelain pans as stick free because they just aren’t.

Mine have always stuck, ig mine didn’t get that it was nonstick and after one use the inside looks burnt even though I don‘t cook on higher than medium setting.

I don’t have the set, but I do have a couple of the pans and they are beautiful. However, I would never buy them again. They are useless. Everything sticks to them! And the longer you use them the more it does stick just like you said. I’ve had to use more oil in these pans and if I’m going to do that, I might as well use a healthier iron skillet, which I always keep an iron skillet, but I wanted something that was easy to make omelettes in. This is not the pan. No more of the beautiful pans for me. Waste of money. I’m a great grandmother and I’ve cooked for many years.

I swear I thought I was the only one. They just started sticking out of nowhere and I used oil AND butter. Thank God they weren't that expensive, but i'm never buying ceramic again. They just arent heavy duty

I alternated between Handwashing and Dishwashing. One of the major selling points of the set was that its dishwasher safe.
