Amazing lesson. I remember buying a book about this quite some years ago and being blown away with the possibilities for creating some really lovely sounding chord voicings. Wish I'd seen this video instead !

Gotcha! We'll see if folks dig this lesson. If they do I'll make a video. The shapes are the same you know. Just in a different order. A minor would be: am - bdim - C - dm - em - F - G Chords with the open A tonal centre. am - x 0 2 2 1 0 bdim - x 0 3 4 3 0 C - x 0 5 5 5 0 dm - x 0 7 7 6 0 em - x 0 9 9 8 0 F - x 0 10 10 10 0 G - x 0 12 12 12 0

@@rickysguitar Thank you Ricky. I DID buy the ebook yesterday but I can’t figure out how to see any of the lessons. I open the link under the “learning” tab and it gives me links to all of the lessons but when I click on them it just pulls up a video…no actual book content. Not sure what I’m missing, but I’ve looked EVERYWHERE trying to figure out how to open the actual ebook with no success. Edit: I’ve finally figured it out. Haha 🙄

I like the sound of these chords with the high E string allowed to sound as well. Very pretty chords indeed! Why don't the minor chords sound as sad when used in this context?!? Very perplexing, but this sad tone I usually hear in minor chords seemed less prevalent in context.

Rick, respectfully, I think the PDF has a few errors. The IV chord D/A is shown on the 5th fret--should be on the 7th. And the V Chord E/A is shown on the 7th fret---should be on the 9th. Cheers!
