This is a great video and seems to be a lot of fun. I'm saving the link and will be replaying it over and over again. I'm just getting back into the guitar after a 50 year hiatus and am realizing what I have been missing for all these years.

Nice one!! But a trick that i've always found easier to tune into drop d, is making sure that that the 7th fret of the E string sound exactly the same as the open A string!! 😁

Really? That’s odd, it’s All. The. Time! Not so much with guitars, but happens to me with tambourines, kazoos, tubas are common, the pan flute (thats a good time for sure!) but mostly the didgeridoo I’d say.

How about improvising on the fly?. It is really not that difficult. Choose few chords that fit good together like Am, C, Dm, E, 2 rounds and then back loop Dm, C, E, Am, and Dm, C, Am, Em, and you can get back to the starting chords Am, C, Dm, E. ---- You can do strumming, fingerstyle or combination of both, put different rhythms to it. It is totally cool and even beginners can easy get into it.
