Nice collection and you did a great job with the spa treatment. Never had a Crissy doll but appreciate your makeover. When I was a kid I had the Littlechap Family, of course Barbie, and Heidi and friends.

I’m so glad you liked it. I find most doll collectors tend to collect more than one kind so I like to show a variety from my collection. I have never heard of the Littlechap family. I will have to look that up!

Love Chrissy, I have one now! When I was a kid I had her friend Brandi! I remember combing her hair 100 strokes!😁 Those were the days!❤ Great job cleaning this beauty up!❤

I love the beautiful Chrissy dolls. I have a few of them and I have their other friends as well. The Chrissy doll has always been one of my favorites. I remember when I got my first Chrissy doll from my sister on the Christmas of 1974. I still have her, and I have added to my collection of them. 0:52

Best thing I tried to get my Crissy doll,'s hair silky and shiny is Dawn dish soap and Equate baby detsngler. The Equate detsngler comes in a greenish blue bottle. I did not spray it on her hair, I added it to the water in the bowl with the dish soap and also after by itself separately in a bowl filled with water. 8 was very pleased with the results.😊

Fabric softener works as well 😊.

I left her sit for quite a while over half an hour I would guess. Then rinsed her hair with warm to cool water, then put the curlers in and let set.

I agree that doll hair should be handled with care and only restored if needed. Isn't it fun fixing up dolls? I need a new project. LOL

I have 4 Crissys and 1 Kerry doll I enjoy playing with their hair. One of them has woolly hair. I tried washing her hair with the dish soap and conditioner. It came out ok. I curled her hair while it was still wet/damp. I used flexi rod set. That did help smooth out the hair somewhat.

I did let her hair dry overnight with the flexi rod curlers in her hair. 10:30
