Great vlog, thank you. It is now over 20 years since my parents passed, also all the family elders who cam to England in the 50s and 60s are longer living. As such I no longer hear Creole being spoken it is great to hear it again. Although I do not speak it, (as I have no one to speak it to) I still understand everything. I will be going from my home here in England over to St Lucia next year…..I cannot wait to reach there.

What town is better for a solo traveller? Vieux Fort or Laborie, without a car? You do a great job showing Saint Lucia 🇱🇨

Hello @The AspiringNomads, either would be fine…maybe Laborie would be better for finding accommodation. Also, public transportation is convenient whether you stay in Laborie or Vieux Fort. I would recommend going to the “I Love St. Lucia” Facebook group and joining…it’s a public group…many visitors to our island go there there to ask questions…you’ll get responses from many island locals there and recommendations.

Hi Glenda, Im not able to make any recommendations since I don’t have much knowledge about apartments on the island. However, you can make some calls from those listed on the internet or check out AirBnb to get some ideas. Maybe someone who comes across your comment can also respond. 🙂
