Mine was 68 R/T 440 purchased in 78 for $1200....B5 blue white top white interior. Alas, given to charity in mid 80s, now with much regret. One of these days I must get another...

@@Welcometofacsistube To Hal 1000: I also owned 69 coronet 500 .I bought it with a bad motor and broken passenger door window for 65.00. Put a window from the wrecking yard, a free 1966 383 and a dual exhaust from a coronet police car for 35.00. This car was my beater in high school. Wish I still had it.

Those new Hellcats are really fast. Not putting down anyone's car. I don't care for a 4 door charger though. Never will. It's the same for Mustangs, Camaros, Challenger, Corvettes, or any muscle car. Add 2 extra doors and it's no longer a "Muscle car" It becomes a sedan. A fucking Bad Ass sedan, but still a sedan.

I owned a 69 Coronet R/T back in 1970, and i still dream of that car. My 440 regularly beat the 426 Hemi's of the day. Straight up stock. 440 Magnum engine/Automatic. Ran a 11:43 without the exhausts and a set of racing slicks.

My dad had a $69 Dodge Coronet white top red body red interior leather high performance 383 and 4 barrel Mama said one time they were going to available reunion in Georgia and the cop her birthday coming for a mile away and got stopping so how fast you go in it yeah heard you coming a mile away okay go about your business I'll see you again My dad came back after the reunion and compensate waiting there still outside his car smiling my dad was going to sleep and smiled out of them wave Mama said I was about 2 years old I was like GoDaddy go 😂
