Great idea, but a couple of problems here: A) those plants won't stay that small for the holes you have and will strangle the stems causing them to die. B) yes, you may get flowers, but not in 5 days. 1) There were no roots to much less buds to begin with when you planted them. 2) wouldn't be in full bloom either.

Portulaca flower's stem remains thin just like rosemary or mint. It won't become thick..

It's moss rose (Portulaca grandiflora), they don't need that much water and can be planted in dry sandy area. I planted these in my belated father's grave (I live in one of the hottest Indonesian city, sea level, dry weather condition). But I'm sure those colorful flowers were arranged. They just stuck flowers from other mature plants off screen, or the video was actually taken weeks later, not just 5 days later. They are actually quite poisonous, can be dangerous to kids and pets...

I am a commercial grower…they can propagate pretty fast but they are not going to be rooted and flowering in 5 days. Maybe 5 weeks.

I love this idea! I had the portulaca flowers at one time but we moved and lost the seeds. I loved the plant so many colours of blooms easy keeper in the dry area I had at the time. I will try herbs in some and see how they do!

A garrafa pequena funciona como auto irrigador.....você enche com água .... e a tira de pano que está presa nela leva a água a terra da garrafa grande (vaso com furos e a planta)

Here in the Philippines it is called VIETNAM ROSE. It is almost and always shades of pink, fuschia, or pink and white. No yellow or peach color flower. You can check with your supermarket or agricultural product stores for those seeds. PORTULACA is also nice alternative to this kind of project. Little care and yet it can give you delight for it's flowers.
