Hi Colleen, amazed that you can keep fancy large tailed guppies outside in Canada. I live in the North of England and doubted that they would survive here. May give it a try by year. Beautiful garden and guppies. Noted the nettles so guessing you are wildlife friendly as is my garden.

How big is your tub you're using for your guppy pond? It's beautiful
@colleenpenny63047 жыл бұрын
It's about a 80 gallon pre formed pond. I use one or two fish tank heaters to keep warm.

Creeping Jenny. Very hardy and comes back every year. I cover over winter with plastic so deer don't eat it all

@zoha55877 жыл бұрын
What do you feed them
@colleenpenny63047 жыл бұрын
Farhan I feed them flake food but they get to eat all kinds of small bugs that fall into pond so they grow really fast outside.

What do you do for pest snails?
@colleenpenny63046 жыл бұрын
I like snails and they have an important job in a outdoor pond. They help break down plant material and other decaying organic matter
