Beautiful Hagia Sofia gardens, 5 Canyon River Ziplines Huatulco Mexico 🇲🇽

Another week, another adventure. We once again, joined Lalo and Treasures of Huatulco, for a tour. This time, we headed northwest of Santa Maria Huatulco, where, after a short drive we arrived at Hagia Sofia. A phenomenal 130 hectare property, family owned and operated since 2007.
Hagia Sofia is known for being a wonderful, natural, peaceful getaway, as they offer cabañas for rent and incredible nature hikes where you can learn about their 4000 or so fruit trees, numerous flowers from all around the world and how beautifully this property is naturally sustained. For those who are more adventurous - yes, that is us - zip lining is one of the main attractions. There are a total of 5 zip lines that zip you over the rivers and canyons that are below. The speeds and scenery are fun and truly impressive.
We enjoyed a wonderful quesadilla breakfast, followed by our ziplining adventures. Towards the end of the day, we had another wonderful meal prepared by the ladies of Hagia Sofia and then to close out an incredible day, we hiked through a stream back into the most lush and colourful jungle. Here, signs awaited us, and explanations by Lalo, of the trees, flowers, bamboo and all plans that make up Hagia Sofia’s ecosystem.
Both of us were very impressed with Hagia Sofia’s offerings, and of course appreciated Lalo and Treasures of Huatulco’s tour, as always!
