She is so italian and such a great personality!! My grandma was italian but I'm Argentinian and we still use a lot of hand gestures as well🇦🇷🇮🇹 I feel very connected to this culture!
@DebM886 ай бұрын
Absolutely. We are so similar and I am not even of Italian descent. My ancestry is German on my dad's side and Croatian on my mom's side but I grew up in Argentina and I use hand gestures ALL the time, it feels unnatural to not be doing something with my body while I speak. I've also been to Italy and had many Italian friends and I can tell you, Italian influence permeated every aspect of our culture, so much so, that there might be a language barrier sometimes, but not a cultural one.

In Italy it could be difficult to understand local dialects. If you move 15km from your region, entering to another, you could stop understanding people on what they're saying. So where the words fail hand gestures come in help.
