The fruit is called Loquat and very common in Kisii region. Some have 2 seeds more like twins while others have 1 seeds. Don’t forget to visit Kamel Park Hotel at Kiogoro or Ufanisi resort. There are hotels at the junction of Kisumu and Migori but the road is under construction of a fly over so it’s messy.

Okay Ken, I am in TX. right now but my village town, Oyugis., is right next to Kissi. Here in TX we have a lot of people from the Kissi tribe, one of the most enterprising people in Africa. Most of what you see there is diaspora money.

The Kissi are a Bantu people, Bantus originated from around Cameroon, Liberian and Sierra Leonese are. A Niger Congo people, .They might be related to Nilotics-Sahara people but absolutely not Kissi. Recently I heard some body say the Kikuyus came from Eritrea, not true either, the Kikuyus came from Congo. Know your history.
