@@EroticOnion23 it happens to actors who take on popular roles. Eg the cast of prison break, when ever you are them in other movies, or shows, you are taken out of the illusion. Nolan even cast the guy who played the prison warden, to play a prison warden in the dark Knight rises.

He constantly pays homage to comics, cartoons, and video games that the characters have been involved in, yet he doesn't copy the stories exactly. Snyder loves these characters as much as one can, but he knows that he should distance that adoration from his work a bit, or else it seems like fan made movies.

+lovelace cofie they are comic book movies, but why redo a story? I'm not saying they shouldn't be inspired by comics, but you don't just make a live action version of a comic book. Comics and movies are different. Direct adaption don't work. Deadpool and Watchmen are great examples. Watchmen honors the source material, but doesn't directly adapt it, though it is the closest it can come too. Deadpool is an example where they respect the source material, but the movie didn't copy a single storyline for the plot.

DaveShmave And yet people treat him like the next Michael Bay while give Gotham showrunner Bruno Heller and the MCU a pass for taking too many liberties with comics. Snyder may have changed Lex Luthor but he still kept him as the manipulative businessman running LexCorp rather than turn him into a real-estate con artist like previous big screen versions yet people complained. The MCU turned Iron Man's nemesis the Mandarin into a joke by revealing the real Mandarin was a hoax and the true villain was a completely generic and cartoonish mad scientist and people are fine. Gotham screwed up the age of many characters because if Bruce Wayne is just a kid and the show is supposed to be before Batman started, than why is Harvey Bullock, Harvey Dent, Carmine Falcone many characters the age they generally are when Batman is active. Are they connected to Ra's al Ghul? That show screwed up Penguin by turning him from a deformed and short Tony Soprano-esque crime boss into a psychopathic emo who is a cross between Pee Wee Herman and Dorian Tyrell who is instead another crime boss's flunkey. They also screwed up the Joker by turning him into a younger version of Dominic West's Jigsaw from Punisher War Zone.

Actually when I first saw the movie I wasn't liking it but at least it was "acceptable", the only thing that ruined the whole movie was the suddenly besties relation between Batman and Superman :/

Heres some explanations for the hate; -jessie eisenberg as lex luthor was annoying and silly. -superman is hypocrite. -Lois lane does nothing important in the movie she was just there. -for a big part of the fans the flash scene makes no sense. -the Martha scene where they stop fight because their mothers called the same. -lex luthor puts his blood on zod corpse makes no sense ¿why that would make a better killing machine? -why does wonder woman gives the pen-drive to batman if she didn't wanted to be seen, her face clearly was worried when she received the email from bruce with her photo.
