At a pull over in Munising Michigan I do a rock hunt that went from not so good to good. I took my time on this day to look at all spots on this beach. I find agates, beautiful limonite stained Quartz and more. Had a great time & hope to return again soon ! Thanks for watching :)

The Jacobsville Sandstone was my favorite! I was also amazed by how clean the water was!

Loved those quartz rocks, a few neat jaspers and even some agate. Not too shabby. I'm guessing probably pollen as well. I enjoyed the video. Looked like a very pretty beach and very peaceful. I hope you had a great time. Enjoy the rest of the week. Take care 🙂

@@upnorthadventureswithccc we are loving our vacation very much. Thanks for asking. Met up with a fellow rockhounder Rogue Rockhound in Medford, OR. Found some amazing Jasper and a nice agate. Went to see some waterfalls. Went to Crater Lake. Drove down some of the most beautiful country I've ever seen along scenic highways 138 and 38. Then we ended up in charming town Florence on the Suislaw River and Pacific Ocean. Today was a good day. I hope all the pollen hasn't bothered your allergies. And, lol, I dunno if I woulda gone in water either. Talk at ya later

That limonite is pretty neat stuff! I've found a few here but didn't know what they were. I bet they tumble up nicely! Is that sandstone known to have any fossils in it?

Sometimes I find agates with some sand stone in it. But mainly the fossils here are found in limestone ! Thanks for watching :)

it is pine pollen season i wonder if it is pollen floating on the water. it can look pretty gross sometimes.

@@upnorthadventureswithccc no problem. My grandparents live on a lake and for a few weeks around this time the lake has this yellow stuff on the water. The pine trees dont rely on insects to pollinate, but instead use the wind, releasing a ton of pollen in the air hoping it will land on the "flower" of another tree. Sometimes you can see a dusting of yellow stuff on your if it sits outside while the trees release pollen.
