I just feel like all my good memories are in the past. Nowadays I just suffer. Remembering the past, sometimes I feel like I can’t stand this world anymore. Seeing her with someone else. I want to go back to the past and recreate all those memories. Feel like a little kid in love again, foolish, feeling a new emotion. But I’ve grown up and messed everything in my life up. Seeing her holding another man’s hand hurts me. It’s hard to face reality so I came here to just listen, close my eyes, and let the music speak all the words in my mind that are urging to be released for someone to hear them. Depression his at often the most inopportune times in my life. Struggling with a chronic illness of which depression is a part, I ironically find a lot of comfort in sad/emotional music, be it orchestral, solo piano, etc. It is my preferred listening outlet, and quite cathartic.

What I don't think people realize with this song is it's not all about loss- but love as well. As if something new is taking the place of what has been lost.
