Shahzadeh Mahan Garden is one of the historical gardens of Iran. This garden is located about 2 km from the city of Mahan and near the city of Kerman and on the slopes of the Tigran mountains and it belongs to the end of the Qajar period. This garden is located in the geographical coordinates of 30 degrees and 1 minutes north latitude and 57 degrees and 17 minutes east longitude and its height is 200 meters above the open sea level. This work was registered as one of Iran's national works on November 14, 1353 with registration number 1012[1] and in 2011, at the 35th UNESCO World Heritage Meeting, it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List along with eight other Iranian gardens. .

This garden was first built by the order of Mohammad Hasan Khan Sardar Irwani, the ruler of Kerman at the time, and the building inside it was later built by Abdul Hamid Mirza Nasir al-Dawlah, the ruler of Kerman, during his eleven years of rule (1298 AH to 1309 AH). However, with his death, the construction of the building was left half-built. It is said that when the news of the ruler's sudden death was brought to Mahan, the mason who was busy completing the building's entrance slammed the plaster mortar in his hand against the wall and abandoned the work. has escaped For this reason, the empty spaces of the tiles can be seen on the entrance gate. باغ شاهزاده ماهان یا باغ شازده ماهان یکی از باغ‌های تاریخی ایران به‌شمار می‌رود. این باغ در حدود ۲ کیلومتری شهر ماهان و در نزدیکی شهر کرمان و در دامنه کوه‌های تیگران جای گرفته و مربوط به پایان دوره قاجاریه است. این باغ در مختصات جغرافیایی ۳۰ درجه و ۱ دقیقه عرض شمالی و ۵۷ درجه و ۱۷ دقیقه طول شرقی قرار گرفته و بلندای آن از سطح دریای آزاد ۲۰۲۰ متر است. این اثر در تاریخ ۱۴ آبان ۱۳۵۳ با شمارهٔ ثبت ۱۰۱۲ به‌عنوان یکی از آثار ملی ایران به ثبت رسیده‌است[۱] و در سال ۲۰۱۱ در نشست سی و پنجم میراث جهانی یونسکو به همراه هشت باغ ایرانی دیگر در فهرست میراث جهانی یونسکو به ثبت جهانی رسید.
پیشینه
این باغ نخست به دستور محمدحسن خان سردار ایروانی حاکم وقت کرمان ساخته شد و بنای درون آن بعدها توسط عبدالحمید میرزا ناصرالدوله حاکم کرمان طی یازده سال حکمرانی وی (۱۲۹۸ ه‍.ق تا ۱۳۰۹ ه‍.ق) ساخته شد. با این همه، با مرگ وی ساخت بنای آن نیمه ساخته رها شد گفته می‌شود وقتی خبر مرگ ناگهانی حاکم را به ماهان می‌برند، بنّایی که مشغول تکمیل سردر ساختمان بود تغار گچی را که در دست داشته محکم به دیوار کوبیده و کار را رها کرده و فرار نموده‌است. به همین علت جاهای خالی کاشی‌ها را بر سردر ورودی می‌توان دید.تاریخ بنای باغ ۱۲۷۶خورشیدی است.
