Firstly, good commentary. Especially when you consider that this was done solo. Both girls are highly skilled and it was a pleasure to watch them both. In terms of observations, Tkach had a strong soft touch, and although her pattern selections were unorthodox (not a bad thing), she did have good shot-making ability. Her break power seemed helpful as well. I think her cue ball control just wasn't on point. There were times in the match where she either overran or underused her power. This is probably what led her to opt for unconventional patterns. Fefilova had good cue ball control, and her appropriate english use made her positional play strongest out of the two. She also used more orthodox patterns, which made it easier for her to run. She seemed more consistent. Either way, awesome game girls. Enjoyed learning from both of you. Congrats Tkach

In a sport dominated by men, it's not inappropriate to point out that fact that the sport is starting to attract younger attractive women. This also brings more spectators to the sport. Sorry, but it does. More spectators means more advertisers. More advertisers means more revenue which translates to bigger prize purses for tournaments.

a ball has to hit a rail after the cue ball makes contacts . so rolling up to a ball is not allowed but brushing the ball then laying a snooker would work.

No. Standard pro rules say its the next called ball after the break. So no matter what drops on the break, its still open/choice

In pool the shot range is way bigger than in any other cue sports. The break needs a special cue also there’s a special cue for jump shots.

way too slow play. this is 8 ball hit the easiest ball first get position. very rarely should you have a problem open table off the break on a scratch, if you don't know what to take pick one because it obviously doesn't matter. a lot of poor shot selection just not playing the right thing. studying the table way to much then not executing the shot the way she wanted then study the table for another 2 min. it should be bam bam bam ok now look to see where you need to go once you're low on ball. 47:22 the pink into the side on a back cut never going to know where the ball is going to finish take the green into the top corner then pink into side then you have choices the only problem on that rack was the orange on the rail but she created problem after problem. trying to figure out every shot play to an area.

Sigh i try not to hate i really do but this commentary was the most annoying ive listened to in a long time. Judgy, dismissive and negative if a different route than he judges to be best. He sees one way if it is different than that is just turns into a negative they should have done this thing. Just annoying. Could i do better no ... i couldn't but stilll annoying. sorry for rant. And yes i did turn the volume off and listened to the second half silently ... much better.
